Remarks
There should be a little less reservation for Sikh students as they can get admission easily with a huge rank and at the same time, a non-sikh student hardly gets admission if the rank is in the thousands. And ACs should remain on all the time.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have to give end term exams after every 5 to 6 months and we can pass them easily if we regularly study a little bit. It's not like the exams are very tough, the level is moderate. Little hustle here can give you good results.
Internships Opportunities
College also provides internship opportunities but not directly. The placement cell of the college regularly gives you updates through mail about the latest internship opportunities available in the market.
Placement Experience
The placement process of the college is quite the same as any other college of IPU. Companies started coming to the campus from the 7th semester and placements go on till you complete your degree. Almost all the students got placed before the final exams. The average package is 3.5-5lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are a little higher in the first year but then they will reduce from the second year onwards. My fee was Rs121900 and it remains the same till the final year. College does not provide any scholarships but you can get one from the Delhi govt. if you have all the necessary documents as some of my classmates hot the scholarship from the same. It is on the basis of your earlier academic performance.
Campus Life
The college has a website www.GTBIT.org. The website is maintained by college faculties and some students studying here. The website gets updated regularly with the latest stuff. The college has a few societies or clubs running on the campus and managed by the students like Natya, Ashke Bhangra, DLC and many more.
