Remarks
the course is provided based on acpc ranking. Also, the Jee ranking played an important role in the admission process. the website of acpc is as follows gujacpc.nic.in. Application fees for the admission selection are rupees 300. the process was quite hectic and challenging as many candidates were applying for the same. during the selection process candidates were given merit numbers according to their acpc rank and the selection process was conducted accordingly.
Course Curriculum Overview
the course curriculum is sequential and well organized. It is designed in such a way that students can get the maximum outcome from that particular course. At the beginning of any course, there is a learning outcomes section that provides us with information about the entire course and what we have to learn after the course gets over. the difficulty level is quite moderate as nearly 85% of students can easily pass a subject. Note that this number can vary from subject to subject. the faculty is very nice (most of them). Nearly 80 students are present in a class so faculty to students ratio is 1:80.
Internships Opportunities
internships are challenging here as not everyone but only a few students with comparatively higher knowledge about a particle domain get it. many companies like Samsung, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Google, etc. take great talents from Nirma university to get the maximum benefit for their company. Project work also plays an important role in getting the desired internship in your favorable company.
Placement Experience
placements of Nirma university are bang on! in CSE, placements are comparatively more concerning than any other branch out there. the highest on-campus package is 30 lakhs (this year). and off-campus depends on your talent, to be honest. almost every student is getting placed here but few of them go for higher studies or may become an entrepreneur.
Fees and Financial Aid
course fees are high (if you are from a middle-class background) but there are multiple scholarship options that you can opt for so in the end, I will say that it is quite manageable if you are hard-working and able to get a decent scholarship. first, there is the MYSY scholarship option which provides you with nearly 50k rupees of grant if you are a Gujrat student and your family income is less than 6 lakh rupees. the second option which you can go for is the scholarship provided by Nirma University. there are also further two types involved in it. Type 1: merit-based (completely). Type 2: merit cum means scholarship (based on the income of parents and merit of the student).
Campus Life
the recent event organized was ANVESHAN 2022. Hands down one of the best events I have ever experienced. the fest was held in April and was truly a mesmerizing event. now, for the availability of b, looks like there is a library present in which you can find all possible books required in your domain. you can find journals too. Sports clubs help in our physical development, and Nirma university has many of them. Extra curricular activities are also promoted widely here. RCNI, ISTE, Code Adda, CHESA, and many more clubs are at your service.
Hostel Facilities
Nirma provides hostel facilities. it has 3 buildings one of them is for girls and two for the boys. it is two sharing with all the basic necessary items such as bed, cupboard, bathroom, etc. the mess is quite good and hospitality which they provide is also remarkable. affordability is not for everyone so make your decisions accordingly.
