Remarks

PTU Jalandhar is ranked third in the state and among India's top 70 universities. The college admission form must be completed on the college website, but I went to the campus and submitted it because I was in town during the admissions process. I passed GATE, so I won't have to take any college entrance exams. The college invited me for document verification after I was shortlisted based on my GATE score. I was able to meet college admission requirements, and my documents were properly verified.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The college curriculum is designed with the future in mind. The curriculum is properly balanced with current technological advancements and the future aspect of technology and its impact. Faculty engagement is also very beneficial. The faculty engagement is not only related to the curriculum, but the faculty also shares a wealth of valuable information and knowledge with us that can help us excel in our lives. Overall, my faculty experience at the college was very positive and fruitful.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The internship is not required; it is entirely up to us whether or not to pursue it. If we do not choose an internship, we must submit a written assignment as power on the topic assigned by the faculty of the relevant department. However, if we want to do an internship, we must choose an off-campus internship.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement offers at the college are average, but the industries involved in the placement drive are excellent. Some of the companies that participate in the college placement drive are Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, TATA Motors, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and Infosys, with the highest placement offers ranging up to 18 LPA and the average salary offer ranging around 8 LPA, which is quite decent in comparison to other universities in our state, or we can say that the placement offer is high compared to our state universities.

Campus Life

4.5

Life on a college campus is enjoyable. The college's no-ragging policy is strictly enforced. The infrastructure and building of the college are well controlled and maintained. The classrooms are spacious and airy. The college's housekeeping keeps the campus clean at all times. Although the library is adequate, we have access to thousands of books to help us broaden our knowledge. Lohri and Holi are also celebrated on campus. There is also a sports facility at the college, and it only has a basketball court and a swimming pool. Our university has WiFi connectivity, and we have an excellent medical facility for all students.

Teh campus placements are not that good for this course. It's good for BTECH students but for Mtech it is not at par. Till now for my batch hardly 5-6 companies came for internship out of which hardly 4 took the candidates.

Course Curriculum Overview:

You will get many opportunities to furnish yourself as the faculty members are too supportive. You will get to know many conference on daily basis that can upheld your boost and make you morally supportive. Doing masters there would lack of strictness as they thought your are grown up, they considered you only for exams and other circulum activities. University should seriously take in action the role their teachers are playing as they sometimes bunk many classes. Exams are not that tough as you would require basic knowledge of your subject.

Some colleges or universities require prospective students to complete interviews.
