Remarks

As we all know, you have to qualify NEET UG for getting selected in any of the medical college across India. The eligibility of the neet examination is that you should have scored more than 60% in your 12 boards and the age criteria, i.e., if you're a general category student you cannot give the exam above 25 years of age. It's more for other caste reservations. The application form is released on the NTA website with the application fees charge up to 1000.

In India doctors are still considered to be next to God. They save people's life. The prestige that is associated with this profession is magnificent and also this gives you an opportunity to help your society and take care of people and save their lives. Though this comes with a lot of responsibility but the amount of satisfaction that you get when you see that you have cured someone and they are happy and living because of you , makes it bearable. The student: faculty ratio is good. There are more than 500 professors, each excelling in their subject. The teaching occurs in classes where you're told everything about the theory through presentation and then there are practical classes in which you get to see and interact with the patients or see how the labs and all the investigations are done. There are 2 term exams in each year, and if you have been consistent enough throughout the year you can easily pass them.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides a mandatory one year internship to all the students who have studied here. The stipend provided in the internship currently is 12,500. During this one year, you're posted in different department for different time intervals and you're taught how to handle patients and apply all the knowledge that you have gained during the MBBS course into the field of action.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees in first year- 56,000(general), 45,000 (obc,sc,st) From second year till internship- 31,000/year(general), 20,000 (obc,sc,St) The fees is very affordable and can be easily paid. Scholarship is provided to the students based on their financial status. Financial assistance is also provided to the students who want to get involved in researches or go abroad to discover new things.

Campus Life

The annual fest conducted here is RHAPSODY, which occurs in the month of October. It is a treat for everyone to attend it, there are so many stages performances, quizzes, games, activites,etc. The Library is the best part about this campus. There is a dedicated building for library which has 3 floors and a centralised ac and here you can get any medical book you can name. The classrooms are also well furnished, and are maintained to be clean. Talking about sports, there is Georgian football league, Georgian cricket league and other sports like voleyballl, table tennis, carrom. There are two badminton courts also in the campus and a swimming pool. There is also a basket ball court. In the month of December, sports week is organized in which all the athletes are given a chance to showcase their talents. A marathon is also organized every year. There are student associations present in the college in order to maintain communication between the students and the administration here.

Hostel Facilities

You are provided a double seater room in your first and second year, which is change to a single seater from third year onwards. The rooms are big enough to accommodate all your belongings and are newly painted and in good condition. There is a study table and a chair alloted to each student. An almirah is also given. The meal quality is satisfactory. There is variety of food from which you can choose depending on your likes and dislikes. The registration process for hostel begins when you apply for admission in this college. All the people including the local students get a hostel room if they had applied for one. The hostels are affordable beyond limits. The hostel fees is only 1000/year +mess charges.

The profession I'm in is medical. The toughest of all. As from the starting I wished to be a doctor. The one who is second to a God. The one who is respected the most. The one who does the most prestigious job. As per the curriculum we have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years plus we have to attend the clinical posting in hospital , which exposes us to real world. The posting time is the time given to students from second year till year last. Improvement can be done in passing the exam part which is 50% in each subject. It can be 40 % marks. Currently I've given my MBBS second year which was hectic because of the vast syllabus. We have total of 5.5 year course for an undergraduate degree. Out of which 4.5 years is about studies rest one year is internship in hospital. We have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years. The mbbs course is very lengthy. Each and every subject is very vast. So we have to study maximum time. So all the very best those who aspire to be a great doctor

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is a very well reputed professional course which provide a wide scope of opportunity to live life by saving someone life. Faculty number is more than enough for students. The ratio is around 1:10 which is very good. All faculty members are MD and DM qualified from well renowned medical colleges like AIIMS Delhi. They teach via ppt. Which help a lot The term exams were very difficult and passing them was even more difficult. In one exam out of 100 student only 13 passed.
