NIT Trichy

Admission to nit Trichy (ug program)is done based on your JEE mains rank. Based on your rank and category u belong you will be allocated your branch. So to get take some ug program nit Trichy u should show your merit in jee mains exam which is conducted by nta. Application fees are 650 rupees for male candidates and 350 rupees for female candidates. You can go through this "jeemain.nta.nic.in" website and apply for 2nd attempt of jee mains. The last date for applying would be June 30th, 2022 and the exam would be from July 21st. Eligibility for applying to jee mains - 12th pass in 2022 or 2021 or 2020

I am a student of mechanical engineering in nit Trichy and I swear the teachers that you get here are so helpful. The classes are so friendly and in most of the classes, you feel like a discussion between students and teacher where you can learn a lot of stuff (much better than the normal style of teaching which makes it unique). You can clear your semester exams easily when you attend classes regularly. Teacher to student ratio is around 1:25

At NIT Trichy, From the start of the third year, companies come for recruiting interns. Management companies and marketing companies are open to almost all branches. Companies like Amazon,Microsoft, uber take from CSE Nvidia, Qualcomm. Etc are open for Eee, Ice,cse.

Case-avg 18–19 LPA and highest 92.5 Lakhs ECE- avg 11LPA and highest 42 Lakhs. EEE -avg 9.5 LPA and highest 38 Lakhs ME - avg 7.5 -8LPA and highest 32 Lakhs. During NIT Trichy Placements 2021, 86.5% of the UG students & 83.3% of the PG students got hired. 283 recruiters visited the campus during the NIT Trichy Placement drive.

The fee is 1,14,950 (tuition fees) and hostel fees are 52,950 (hostel fees) yearly. There are tuition fee waivers if your parental annual income is below 5 lakhs. Apart from this, you can take a sbi loan through college.

There are 3 anuual fests - Pragyan - Technical Nittfest - Interdepartment Festember-Cultural The library here in nit Trichy is amazing in that u can find more than 1 lakh books which provide u knowledge of your interest. Nit Trichy library would be one of the best places and so peaceful for students here. There are lots of clubs here to explore. toastmasters are one such club where you can develop your communication skills. I swear that this is also the best place if you are interested in sports. Apart from this many students do prepare for civil services parallel with their bBTechwhich gives you an extra edge of UPSC culture.

Foods are provided 4 times a day breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. There is a facility for taking varieties of delicious veg and non-veg items by paying some extra money other than normal mess fees. Extra items include Chicken Biriyani, Chicken Fried Rice, Chicken 65, Peeper Chicken, Mushroom Masala, Kadai Paneer, Gobi Manchurian, and many more dishes. Other than mess there are also lots of canteens ( both Veg and Nonveg) with superior food quality. Some of them are subsidized also. Neelkesh, NIC, Chennai Bekary, IIM Canteen, Night Canteen, Avin, Vasantham, and Buhari Canteen are very popular among students. Some dhabas are also there just outside the campus. (eg.
