A college for middle class people.

More clarity about all the processes and documents that have to be submitted at the time or after taking admission. Especially the students belonging to a reserved category must be told everything to avail the reservation benefits if applicable. otherwise, the admission process was very easy. and staff was helpful

Exams are like there are different parts for it. Viva's for practicals, minors, and majors. There are two minors of 30 marks out of which best of any two is selected subject wise so that's a good point about this college you will get options for minors. It takes place in mid of semester and at the end of the semester 10-15 days before majors. Questions are not that tough nor too easy. Minors papers are made by tour respective subject teachers while majors paper comes from the university. Generally, papers are easy to moderate until and unless you have messed up with your teacher, especially in minors. the teachers here are well qualified and very helpful to the students.

For computer science and IT, the placement is nearly 90% which is quite good and decreases to 75% for ECE but the placement of EEE, MECHANICAL, and Biotech is very low about 20 - 30% only. Many of the core branches students, later on, study coding and goes for tech jobs. At present, I am not sure what will I do after getting my degree but In the back of my mind, I am thinking of giving the gate ecaminations.

I haven't got any scholarships till my job and also As I am in 1st year so I don't have any job or internship. College does provide merit cum means scholarships for meritorious students. Also as the college campus is Inside the Panjab University campus so University runs a scheme that is Earned while learning for those students who have financial problems can work part-time at University for 40 hrs a month and are paid 100 rs per hour.

There are so many clubs in the college for everything. I am in the MITRA club. It is a social club that organizes events for the nearby government school students to make them understand our surroundings or we sell diyas at the time of Diwali made by local small vendors and whatever money we get gave it to them alongside a Diwali present. So there are so many things we do on a regular basis.
