Remarks

This college is a average college under kolkata university if any student want to study from there, i advised to the if you are a average student then first try other college if not get any othe college then join this.

Entrance Preview

After qualifying my higher secondery i got admission in this college where i did my b.com. the admission process in this college is not tough . If you get 70% marks you will get admission easily.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course structure is purely based on the calcutta university course curriculum of b.com i+i+i system. There is no differences of syllabus to other college under calcutta university. and so the exam is conducted on the basis of calcutta university exam structure.

Internships Opportunities

No, the college is not providing any kind of internship to the student. If any student want to join any internship they have to find that by own.

Placement Experience

1

The college is providing placement but that is not too good . One or two company is came in last placement and hired student approx. 50. so the number is not good but if any student having good ability than there is no problem for them. so the placement is totally depend on the student capability.

College Events

1.5

There is an annual event called utsav is celebrated every year in the college there is lot of fun on that . Many of us is going for that event only for enjoyment. Many hollywood bollywood movie played there and there is good arrangement for food and lunch.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is very low and affordable for the poor student. the fees is based on the calcutta university fees structure and very low . The fees is collected at the time of form fill up and it is approx rs. 2000 only the admission fees of the college is rs 3500 approx.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have not availed any scholarship from the college because the college is not providing any kind of scholarship and since the fees is not too high so scholarship does not matter.

Campus Life

3

Single the college is only for boy there is no need for any gender party and also since the college is only for boy the the attedence of student is very low. There is lot of workshop is organised by college union which gives lot of knowledge about practical knowledge.

Hostel Facilities

2

The hostel facility of college is not good and even if any student wants hostel facility. The politics behind the hostel is very bad. and not the the student can survive the but if you and bengali then the problem for you is less as compare to non bengol

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors of this college is very co-operative if any guy getting any problem from the college the union member of the college is willing to that . there are lot of successful people from thish college.

Exam Structure

The exam is conducted on the basis of calcutta university exam structure. There is three exam in all all the three year which is final . And student have to qualify the t exam to go for next level . and if any studend not passing any subject then they hav

Faculty

2.5

The faculty is having good knowledge but they are lazy boring too so the student is very frequently absent the classes. They all teachers are from bengali background and many student like from hindi background so that also created some differenceses among

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course the b.com because I want to become the CA but after completing the graduation my family condition was not very good so I quit my studies and searching for the job. My dream was after B.com then I complete M.com then CA but I couldn't do that. I'm pursuing because I'm interested in understanding how businesses work and want a solid foundation in commerce and finance. It opens up various career paths in accounting, finance, management, and more. Plus, it's a versatile degree that can lead to professional certifications like CA, CS, or MBA.
