Students need to pass the 12th exam with more than 60% to get admission to ADTU. The admission can be done offline by coming to the admission office on the university campus or online on the official website of the university. The admission process can be improved by mentioning more about the fee structure.

I personally chose this course as I was fascinated by the nursing profession and the Job opportunities it provides. Our department has many faculties and students with a ratio of 3:9. The faculty members are very talented and qualified with very unique styles of teaching that include digital teaching too. There are various exams conducted including class tests and sessional exams apart from final exams.

The internship is done in the last 6 months of the four-year course. It is done in the parent hospital, i.e Downtown Hospital. No money is given during the internship period as it is only meant for practical knowledge and practices. In between Job Mela's are conducted where different companies come and give opportunities to the students to participate.

The most guaranteed thing ADTU give is PLACEMENTS. After completion of a four-year course, anyone can get placements right after passing out with a good percentage. Anyone can apply in both private and government sectors. I am planning to work as a staff nurse after completing BSC NURSING and then applying for MSC later.

Hostel staying is compulsory for nursing students and for that the hostel fee is included with the academic fee and there's no need of paying them separately. The students above 80% get scholarships and also different scholarships under various schemes. Every year the university conducts JOB MELA on the campus where students can give interviews in different fields.

There are social media pages handled by the students giving necessary information about the university and also there is an official website where anyone can get all information required. The social media pages show all activities and programs being celebrated on the university campus or any feast organized.

The registration for a hostel is done together with the academic admission. Staying in pg or rent is not allowed in nursing (except for the MSC NURSING and POST BASIC nursing students). The hostel fees are also taken along with the academic fees and there is no need of paying them separately throughout the course.
