IIIT Raichur Review

To be a part of the IIIT Raichur, I passed the JEE mains exam and received 60% in my 10+2 with the relevant stream. I was assigned to this college after my JOSAA, but I wanted to be a part of IIT Hyderabad, so learning that IIIT Raichur is supervised by IIT Hyderabad was a blessing in disguise. At the moment, IIIT Raichur will only focus on the B.Tech programme in Computer Science and Engineering because computer science is the future and has many opportunities, so this is the college's main focus, and the faculty in this stream is also excellent.

The curriculum of the university is similar to that of IIT Hyderabad, which means that it is up to date, follows industry guidelines, and adheres to international standards. The curriculum provides us with a thorough understanding of computer technology and assists us in properly understanding the basics of computer programming and algorithms. The majority of our topics are taught by the IIT Hyderabad faculty. The faculty at IIIT Raichur is also excellent, and the faculty is fully skilled and cooperative. Because the college only offered a CSE programme at the time, the faculty are professionals and have extensive experience in their field.

According to the director of the college, our seniors will participate in the IIT Hyderabad placement drive because the university is new and the placement cell is new. I consulted my seniors for placement offers and discovered that they had received good placement offers. The packages ranged from 8 LPA to 16 LAP.

The campus is currently operating from a makeshift location. The college classroom is spacious and well-ventilated. The college also offers WiFi 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Volleyball, basketball, badminton, and tennis courts are available at the college. However, due to covid, all classes are currently online, and we have not had the opportunity to visit the campus after the first year. However, because the online infrastructure is simple and straightforward, learners can freely communicate with lecturers and their lecturers.

The rooms are available on a double occupancy basis. The mess food is of high quality. The hostel has internet access 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The mess food is hygienic and nutritious. However, we were only allowed to stay in the hostel for one year, and after the lockdown, the courses were moved online, and we were unable to visit the hostel. Because we only stayed in the hostel for a few months, the experience I shared with you was my first-year experience. We've returned to hostel life after the lockdown, and we're loving it.
