IACG Review

I had to take the entrance exam test to see if I was eligible for the course. The student has to get 70% on the test to be eligible. The application form and application dates can be found on the official site of IACG. The admission process is good and students have to visit the campus to write the entrance exam.

Course Curriculum is not complicated and can be understood by students if concentrated, I choose this course because I had an interest in game designing and I want to be a good game/ environment designer. The faculty members are very friendly and they teach you in some unique ways so that u could understand the subject easily. The faculty members were also more than qualified enough to teach us in easy ways as they learnt the subject in some hard ways. The term exams are conducted every 6 months and questions are somewhat difficult.

Students become eligible for campus placements in semester 8, in this semester various companies come to college to see the eligible students for the placements and students are placed accordingly. According to the college, there is a 100% placement percentage and also college ensures that every student's future is secured. I have a plan of doing an MA after this degree program in order to improve my knowledge and skills in Gaming.

The cost to study here is around 7 lakhs excluding some art things like graphite pencils and other stuff used to create artworks. Students can avail scholarships through the college if the student maintains an average of 90% in 3 to 4 terms.

College life is super chill as the lecturers are friendly and do not pressure the students for any work. There are several activities performed in the college like Holi, Ganesh Chaturthi i.e. 7 days or 11 days and also fresher's party is organised by the seniors too. Sport's day is also organised in the college which is very fun and also there is cosplay organised, students from various colleges come there to participate and are very fun too.
