Due to Covid my admission was done online. I had a very first interactive call with our HOD Mr. Joydeep Banerjee. He inquired about my school qualifications and gave me a brief counseling about which course I should go with. He was very friendly and open to talk about the course. You have to give one CET exam for admission.

After 12th I was confused about my route. I like computers but there were still so many options to choose from. After I had my counseling, I still had my doubts. But as the classes started, even though they were online, I could feel my doubts being cleared. The teachers were constantly interacting and inquiry individually about our doubts. There were several doubt clearing classes. The session are slow paced. One can take their time to understand and ask repeatedly, if doubtful. Notes were very useful during exams. Most of the faculties provide notes during the session and few after. They also provide pdfs and websites for further inquiries. If you want to learn they help you beyond the boundaries.

Currently I am preparing for web development. I am looking to widen my knowledge and experience more in this field. NSHM also provides subscriptions of online websites like coursera and edx for free to the students. So you can learn and widen your chances to get placed in best companies.

Right when you set foot in 2nd year, you are armed up with job interviews and prep work. You get workshops and several other preparations to build up your confidence. Classes for communication, body language, posture, ethics all are provided before you step for an interview. Companies like WIPRO, TCS, Capgemini and many more were provided for placements. Total of 42 companies were provided.

Fee structure depend upon how you want to pay. There are 3 ways you can pay one-time payment, yearly and semester wise. Financial assistance was provided to many students who lost their parents during this pandemic. Other than that many scholarships are also provided to students to ease their learning.

Campus life is wonderful. Its beautiful, spacious and comfortable. We have several student favorite spots. Coffee shop, sports ground and libraries. NSHM has two large libraries. There are clubs like debate club, communication club, book lounge, drama, music, etc. And so many activities that follow up with it.
