Our college is established by a number os eminent business leaders and academicians.Our college provided curriculum that is up to date and relevant to the modern employment environment.At affordable fees, our college offers a quality student centred education.

Entrance Preview

I pursue B.A from this college.For graduation course, online entrance examination does not conduct.The admission process is purely provisional.I passed my Intermediate 10+2 in Arts stream and secured 78% from a private Jr college in Banglore.

College Events

Our college conducted a Social Awareness Programme for the welfare of society.Interested students from our college take part in this programme in their free time.In this programme, our volunteers organised different games, drawing competitions, essay competitions for children of different age and different place

Campus Life

Our college view is very natural and beautiful.In the evening Hostel students play football in the playground near to our college.Inside the campus, there is a cafeteria where snacks, tea, coffee always available.In the recreation time we can sit there and gossip also.

Hostel Facilities

In our hostel, I think it is my second home.Home like feelings come in my mind only because of the foods cooked in our hostel.It is tasty and simple, use of spices are very less.Warden also takes special care that foods served should be nutritious for us.

External Expense: More Than Rs.15000

Faculty

There are mixed types of faculties in our college.While some are polite and simple, others explanations or method of teaching is not pleasant.But all our teachers do their classes regularly.If somehow we miss a class it is a big loss for us.

A good college for starting your new journey

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placement in their final years. The companies which comes for the placement are deloitte, goldmanSachs, amazon and many more reputed companies. And they do make many offers. The highest package reports around 30 LPA and the average goes on around 3 to 4.5 LPA. Around 70-90 percent get placements. My plans is to pursue higher studies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got a bachelor of arts degree in criminology, psychology and english optional. The branches of criminology and psychology are upcoming in India in the present time. Course taught is revelant and in present. It is regularly updated. I chose tge course mainly due to criminology. Various aspects of the subject is covered in 6 semesters such as forensic, ballistics, cyber, laws, victimology etc. They do take us on field visits. There is one mid sem exam and one final exam. There is record work as well as assignments given at regular interval. The difficulty level is medium.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements towards the final semester of their course. Currently, I have only been using the help of my faculty for internship opportunities, since I am not looking for placements. But they have connections with big names in the communication sector, and they often have personalities coming in to give talks and interact with the students. A great number of students opt for placements and approximately 90% of them do end up getting posted at really good companies. Others choose to continue with higher education. My plan after receiving my degree would be to take up a diploma in literature in the UK, while simultaneously finding myself a position at a good publishing house there.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.

SBCMS Lies through their teeth

After my 12th I wanted to do my undergraduate program abroad but those plans didn't happen and I had lost a window of applying here for other good colleges. SBCMS was closer to my place and they had admissions still open and I didn't have much other choice so I decided to join. the admission process was simple just give the necessary documents and they'll set you up after you pay the admission fee. Sb collage of nursing
