Entrance Preview

I had applied to Jaipuria on the basis of my MAT score. The admission application was sent through the college website and the application fee was also paid online. I was selected for the GD/PI round and I participated in the session held in Indore itself. I am happy that I was selected. Everything is taken into consideration, your Bachelor's degree, MATscore and GD/Pi performance.

Course Curriculum Overview

The PGDM course has common modules for all specialisations and then we have to choose our electives. The course curriculum is very rigorous and well-designed. I am highly satisfied with my courses.

Internships Opportunities

We had to undergo summer training. We were assigned to companies through the college itself.

Placement Experience

The college has a very good placement record ever since its inception. The college sees a lot of placements in banks, finance related firms and consulting. Axis Bank, DBS Bank, Deutsche Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IndusInd Bank, ING Vysya Bank and RBS are some of the banks that have regularly recruited here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are on the higher end at INR 310,000 per annum but it is totally worth the cost. You can avail of a loan from any nationalised bank. The college has a tie-up with Axis Bank.

Campus Life

The college is located a little outside Indore on the Indore-Dewas highway. There isn't much contact with the city throughout the week but we are close e enough to go out on the weekends without much trouble. The academics and the management studies related extra-curricular activities only keep us very occupied and they are highly interesting.

Hostel Facilities

There are decent quality hostels for both girls and boys. The cost is high but facilities are sufficient. It is better than living outside.

Exam Structure

The college follows a semester pattern of examinations.

Faculty

The method of teaching that is used in Jaipuria is a mix of case studies, problem-solving sessions, presentations, guest and expert sessions, demonstrations. This helped me to learn things in a more practical way. The Faculty members are very helpful and even after class hours, they are ready to guide students. The learning experience was very good.

The experience with Sage University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fees structure and placement made me tool admission in this univeresity as in bhopal their are very few good options and Sage is one of them. The curriculum prepares you quit well for real word applications and provides a way for further acadmic pursuits only if you are attentive in the class. I don' think that there is a need for any improvement in teaching area as the teachers are very well qualifield but the only improvement they need is in management. If we talk about frequency of classes then they are quit frequent and timings are also very reasonable.

It was nice to recall whatever experience we had in starting our journey

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester only students are eligible to sit in the campus placement. It was an engineering college therefore multiple companies visited to hire for both engineering and mba students. I got three offer from visited companies . I got two Internship offer and one job offer. 1st offer for Hiteshi Infotech as Business Development Intern , 2nd offer for Study Metro as Marketing Intern. And 3rd my final job offer at Collabera. Generally the highest package goes till 12 LPA. During the tenure more than 300 company visited the college . And every students got the offer. Even the placement also take care about every students. They also make sure that each student much have an offer in their hands. When I completed my studies , I gave many goveronment exam, I did preparation as well but didn't cleared any . Therefore I joined the company where I did the intership.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the third semester of their college companies start coming for placement since then and the placement is continued till the end of the last semester top recruiters who visit the college for placement are Asian Paints Nestle ICICI Securities ICICI Prudential Amul Trident etc highest package offered to students is 12 lakh per annum and the average package ranges between 4 lakh to 5 lakh per annum almost 80% of students get good placement opportunities by the campus mostly the companies come for marketing or sales role very few companies come for finance and HR role.

Placement Experience:

The placement procedure in PIMR is effective and good. The institute placement cell lays great emphasis on the overall placement process and inviting companies in the college. The students are eligible to sit at placements from 3rd semester. There is rarely any company that visited the institute and haven't made any offer to the students. The highest package offered this year is of 20LPA, with average package being almost 5LPA. Almost 80% of the tsudents were able to secure offer letters at the end of their degree.

About Jaipuria

You have to score more than 50 percentile in cat exam and other entrance I don't know much about other entrance as I got admission through cat result. We can fill online application and then a particular amount of fees to be paid for admission form then you have to go through case study round and personal interview round.
