Good state government college if you are not getting any NIT or IIT.

Admission is done on the basis of JEE Main rank. Counselling is done after the declaration of jee ranks. The application form can be found on the website of MMMUT. I was eligible for an EWS reservation. You have to opt for a reservation in the application form. Counselling dates are released very late. It becomes hard for us to manage everything.

I chose Btech ECE because in this college ECE branch is the most versatile branch. The faculty is highly qualified and supportive. But during 1st year most of the time, only guest faculties take classes. Faculty to student ratio is not good enough. Due to covid, in 1st year timing of exams were rigorous. But normally (from 2nd year onwards) there is 4-5 months gap between term exams. It is not easy to pass in maths but in other subjects, it is not that difficult.

Internship opportunities are available from the 5th semester onwards. Last year Amazon provided three students with more than 50k internship opportunities. However, there is not many internship opportunities available through the college. Manu of the students is working on the projects like drones, etc.

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for on-campus placements. You can easily find placement statistics on the university website. But overall many good companies like Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Texas instruments, etc. More than 600 offers were provided this year. The highest package was 45 lacs this year from Amazon. And the average package is 585000 rupees. There is 90-100% placement in the CSE branch. However, is no passout batch of IT till this year. In ECE there is 60-70% placement.

The fee is 90000 for non-hostlers and 109800 per annum for hostlers including caution money and excluding mess charge. It is as nearly as some reputed private institutes. There is only UP govt provided scholarship. In 1st-year fund exhausts very soon. So if you do not belong to any reserved category, your chance of getting a scholarship is very low.

Fests are the best part of this college. There are two annual fests conducted. The first is a cultural fest and the second is a technical fest. Both fests have EDM nights and many events. There are no ACs in classrooms. The projector is there but is rarely used. Speakers are also there but not in working condition. But it is ok. There is a separate society for sports. You will find a lot of events and extracurricular activities ongoing every time on the campus. And this is the best part of this college. There are many societies and clubs like The Editorial Board, Cultural synod, Financial Club, Sports sub-council, SAE, IEEE, etc. You will find a lot of events in these societies.
