My college review

I appeared for jee mains three times and I got 84 percentile. When the application form was out, I filled the form and complete my counseling process. As I'm a general category candidate so with an EWS certificate at the 84 percentile, I got the Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur in the 4th round of counseling. I got a chemical branch in the third round and after that, I applied for upgradation but I wanted either CSE or it which I couldn't find. Thus after completing the counseling process, I was called for physical reporting in the college where I was given some forms to fill and asked for fee payment. This is the complete admission process of Madan Mohan University of technology Gorakhpur.

Faculty members are very good. They are very supportive and helpful to us. All members are well qualified. All the faculty members have done Ph.D. in their own subjects and have enough knowledge to teach us. Our exams are held after 2 months including 2 minors and 2 majors in a semester. In the exam, questions aren't so easy but if you attend all the classes properly then you can easily get a very good CGPA. Maths question paper is something tougher than others but each student can be passed If he/ she attends all the lectures.

The placement cell faculty is very good in our college. They give their best to make the students placed, on campus. There are so many companies, visit our college, some of them are like Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, etc. The highest package of our college is 45 LPA in 2021, and approximately 5-10 students are placed at this amount by Amazon and Microsoft. It is on-campus placement. There are some candidates, have more than 3-4 job offers. Here, students are also motivated to make their own start-ups and for this purpose college also helps to provide them funding. Some students of our college, about 10-20 made their own start-up. This year approximately 90 percente of our college students got placed. And some of them also cleared gate exam with very good rank. Some students prepared for government exam, and they got some government jobs like IES, upse etc. Average package of the college is likely 7 lpa.

Our college admission fee is 90,000 per year. Each student gets a scholarship but the scholarship amount depends on their category. College helps in every possible way for all the students having any issues. If any student of the college has any financial issue then the college tries to provide all the support whether it's a financial issue or it's their health-related issues or anything else. The maximum number of candidates are got placed in the college, on campus. There are some candidates like that, who have more than 2/3 of job offers. If we talk about the placement then in this matter, our college gives its best. 900/1000 are approximately got placed. The maximum number of companies visit our college for placement and choose the candidates according to their needs. Companies like Infosys, Amazon, and Microsoft visit our college and many candidates are placed there. These companies provide a very good packages. The average package of our college, so far I know, is 7Lpa.

The College campus is excellent, everywhere greenery properly maintained, park, etc. We feel very happy on our campus. In our college, there are three annual fests Abhyudaya, Aayas, and tech shrijan. In abhyudaya college students show their different creativities in various fields by organizing art competitions, rangoli competitions, dancing and singing competitions and so many events like this where we enjoy a lot. Aayas is also the annual fest of the college like abhyudaya, in Aayas there are a number of sports organized by the college like relay race, long jump, short race, long race, shotput throw, javelin throw, etc and winners are rewarded with exciting prizes and gifts. Techshrijan is the tech fest of our college, in this many technical activities are organized like we are provided tools and things used to making technical activities and winners are also rewarded. From time to time our seniors and faculty members organize new competitions and fests to keep us motivated, happy and healthy

To live in the hostel, we filled out a form during the physical reporting and submitted half the fees. Mess food is very good. As there is a mess secretary among all the hostel girls who try to know about the mess food and its quality from time to time to all the hostel girls. Mess Secretary, if there is any issue with the mess food, can report this to the hostel warden. Mess and hostel fee is very low. Our living rooms are good and in the hostel, all the girls live like family members. There are some indoor games also, which we can play in the common room. There is a sitting area in the hostel, surrounded by greenery, where we feel fresh, and to make our mood happy, there is a TV also, in the common room.
