EDI - Good for budding businessmen

We have to give CAT, college written exam and GD/PI. So there are three stages of admission. Application takes place online.

The course is all encompassing from the point of view of all important aspects of entrepreneurship. The legal and financial aspects are well taught. The course teaches students to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of a proposed project very well.

Internship we have to find on our own.

This MBA is not for getting a placement in a corporate company. This program is for those who want to start their own business. Most students go on to launch a company of their own or to join their family business. Some who aren't successful in this, later on go to take up jobs.

Approximately 7 lakhs per annum.

Campus is very pretty and well-designed. There is lots of greenery. Facilities are all up-to-date. The library is well stocked. There is a canteen but it's not excellent. Food variety is not good. Students have lots to do on the campus.

Boys and girls hostels are available on the campus. Facilities are good enough to live. Food is best catered from outside instead of canteen.

Most alumni have started their own business. They are at various stages of establishing their companies. The alumni network is very strong. Current students are advised to take advantage of this.

Trimester pattern of examinations is followed. Marks are given for project work and class assignments.
