Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course has a total 3-year duration and the curriculum is divided into 6 semesters. I choose to study this course because I want to become a good news anchor. The faculty are highly qualified, friendly, and experienced. The teaching method is good, they always try to explain the difficult topics in an easy way with example. The faculty and student ratio is 10:1. The semester exam is moderately difficulty.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee structure was around 2,70,000 for a three-year course. Total course fees are divided into three-part and students need to pay fees on a yearly basis. College provides scholarship and financial assistance opportunities to some students, for these facilities students need to submit required documents in college or University.

Campus Life

4.5

Social life in college is good. There are more than 7 clubs and social groups which are active in different type of activities. Ant student can participate in any club or social group. I was part of a dance club and get a chance to perform in many colleges. The library has a very good setup with all kinds of books related to our courses. The classroom has all amenities like a fan, air condition, projector, lights, ventilation, etc.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel facility are average. There is no sports ground in hostel so you cant play any kind of game. Yes rules are not very strict so you can go out with friends in evening easily. Room has all kind of facility so you do not need to cary any things from home. Mess menu has good variety of dish and yes food quality is served is also good. Locality is good, there is good enviorment for study

The placement cell of our college is functional and active. The chances depend on the course that you have opted for. The placements are really good for commerce, economics, Maths, Stats but for the other department's students it might be a bit challenging to find a company of their domain. The students become eligible to sit in placement from 5th semester. The companies that visit my college are Godrej, BCG, McKinsey, Nation with Namo, Blackstone, Accenture, KPMG, EY, citibank, microsoft and Amazon etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate my course four out of five because in journalism is a field where people are not about so much. The main stream media does not show the real problems and challengs of the country. They live in a bubble of their own. Many of the times they provide miss information to the people which hurts the hearts of the people. They do not cover multiple aspects of media. The exams in the daj is not so hard you can easily pass it by just 4 to 5 days of preparation.
