Remarks
Admission was done through online ACPDC Counselling. No entrace based exams were taken as admissions were taken in accounts of Merit. I feel like Cut-off is 65+ percentage, so it's quite easy. All the applications were done online, you'll just have to go there once or twice after you're selected for that college. Reservation benefits are also available, though provided that it is a goverment college, fees are negligible.
Course Curriculum Overview
I had taken Diploma in IT after 10th as Diploma in CS was not available there. Though, they say there isn't much difference in both courses. The faculties are ever ready to help and Faculty:Student ratio is 5:70. Some faculties are very knowledgeable but not all. But they provide guidance whenever needed. They won't help you unless you ask though. The exams are conducted timely as per GTU regulations. The exams are not much of a worry because I found it quite easy and repetitive. Though you have to be careful because passing rates are low.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are fixed and low. Per semester fees is 1500~ and it's even lower for Reserved castes and girls. You can also avail EWS on merit basis. All government based scholarship can be availed there. Though, the negative part is, you won't be provided with any internships or Job placements.
Campus Life
The college holds Youth Fiestas, Cultural Fests, seminars, and farewells anually. Most of these are student organized. There is a huge library in campus itself that provides books/ journals associated with courses. College is Wifi enabled and sufficient labs and computers are also available. There is also a yearly Sports week. Socializing is done mostly through in-person basis.
