College experience

Overall my college is good as they provide all facilities and collect less fees compared to other colleges in Manglore.They collect fine for some other things like taking leave or bunking classes. We need to submit Doctors certificate if it is medical lea

I took kerala entrance examination, but I was not able to score in that exam,moreover my Puc marks where less.My friends were in a hurry to join any college, they all got admission and atlast I found a consultancy and they suggested me to join in Manglore,karavali Institute of Technology, affiliated by VTU

I have joined in that college choosing B.E in Eee,but they have told me that in first year you can choose any course and they told me to choose information science or IT and I have choosed as because all the subjects are same in first year. Faculties where nice and they are too friendly with us,they will manage us and can tell any problems faced by us especially in hostel with seniors.

After completing B.E from my college, there occurred campus placements or job mela.My percentage of marks are less. So I was not able to participate. Some of my friends got placements in companies like Infosys and they where offering a stipend of 10k/15k.

Only some of the students are placed in college placements. Companies like Infosys,hp,hcl,infotech came to our college.It companies where more compared to others.They all offered different salary packages along with training. Some companies offered 10 to 20 k/month.

Our college celebrates almost all the festivals in a grand manner as there are students from north as well as south. We celebrate Onam,Diwali,aayuda pooja,Bakrid and lots more. College provides all the facilities for better celebration. During diwali chairman along with others celebrate by bringing crackers which will hit the top,actually a grand celebration along with cultural programms.It will last for late night sleep and a leave in the next day

In our college each are having different fees structure as there occurs admissions from different consultancy as well as direct admission and also different branches of engineering is having different fee.One of the most important thing about feee in our college is that we are able to pay total fees in installments and there is no donation in my college.My fees structure is as follows 1,10,000(1st year including hostel fee,meee,uniform) 70,000(2nd year to final year, hostel not included)

Loan facilities are available, but college only supports to take loans and they don't suggest. In my case I took a loan amount of 4 lakhs in total to study from Gramin bank,kerala. Many other banks also provide educational loans which are payable after getting a job.

Campus life is really awesome experience for me especially in my college. I was able to minkle with many students outside of my state and learned their languages like kannada,hindi and they too learned malayalam from us. Our college support extra curricular activities. They provide robotics training which are additional. Sports luke kabadi,basketball are good and took part.we have conducted kabadi compitation on inter college basis and we where the champions.

In my college they provide hostel facilities and in first year it was compulsory for outsiders /students coming out of state to grab hostel.They provide good rooms and in each room there will be 3 to 4 person. It is not a conjunction aa they provide big r

Seniors where good and sometimes supportive. On the first day they tried to rag us and it was not so crusual,as ragging is strictly prohibited in our college and juniors can report to college, if anybody rags us. They collect huge fine. So ragging was not practical.seniors were good.

Main Eams occur during the end of each semester. Each semester is a total duration of six months. Lab exams finish a week before commitment of theory. There will be a lot of tension during the labs as there comes faculties from other colleges to check and

Faculties are all just completed their B.E or M.tech and joined our college,so that they have given special instructions to care outside students from different parts of country especially kerala and gujarat.
