Remarks
To be eligible for the course, you have to take the EAMCET exam after the 12th. As this is the top engineering college in the state, you have to score high rank. There are also reservations available for sc, st, obc candidates.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very flexible as repeated meetings are held to modify the syllabus for industry requirements. The faculty is very friendly and knowledgeable about different teaching methods. Two Mid exams are held every semester and a semester exam is held at the end. Every year has two semesters.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester in their 4th year. Most of the students apply for software jobs and the companies for core branches are less but worth it. Many prepare for MTech through gare. Some prepare for UPSC and some prepare for MSC. There are many options available.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you have an income certificate, you can get a free concession with zero joining fee. But fees for other students are 35000. Many scholarships are available to avail and there are people who are always there to help you regarding that. Many of my seniors got campus jobs with good students who were selected by the college.
Campus Life
The campus has all the required infrastructure and facilities to study. Classrooms are tidy but some don't have fans. There are two Libraries, one is a college library and the other is a University library. Both have a good ambience and atmosphere to study in. Many books and exclusive journals are available in the library. Timings are also very flexible. Every year college fest is conducted by every department. There are also many others rates related to sports and tech conducted by all the departments. Connaissance is the annual fest of the mechanical department where all the students are involved in many works. It'll be very fun. If you are interested in clubs, there are many clubs started on the campus recently and many opportunities to showcase your talent.
