Harshita's Review On Alliance University, Bangalore

I didn't take any entrance exam. I take admission on the basis of my academic score and also my friend told me about this university.

The course structure is very Interesting and Chilled out. Admitting eligible candidates in the undergraduate as well as postgraduate management courses. The interested, eligible candidates can apply for the course. The candidates are required to attempt the questions correctly because there will be a deduction of 1 mark for each wrong attempt made by them.

It provides internship for the students. The internship is based on student to student performance. most of the companies visited our campus like TCS, IBM, HCL, ITC, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, ICICI Securities etc.

With only one event coming up this year is the madhuram which is the cultural fest of the college. It is also not conducted properly and it is very dull, boring and colour less. Tech fests are also to be conducted but students take very less interest in it because of its very low cash prizes.

No scholarship and loan facilities are available. However, some students get the benefit of their categories and get a loan from their home states. Students can apply for the loan in the banks but college bank does not provide any loans.

University provides separate hostel for boys and girls. Hostel security arrangements are good. The guard does perform his/her duty correctly. The hostel is very clean and hygienic. It is well developed in infrastructure. Food quality of this hostel is also good. It provides Reading rooms and additional sports facilities like table-tennis rooms, chess, and carom rooms will also be available in each hostel.

The exam consists of 2 minors and 1 major exam.the 2 minors are of 20 marks and major is of 50 marks. Rest 10 marks are from a quiz.the theory component comprises 80% and 20% is the practical component.It was conducted once a semester which is very hectic schedule for students to manage their both major and minor exams.

Faculties are good and cooperative. They are very helpful most of the time. They are very well qualified professionals. Teachers are from different parts of the country. They usually have a deep interest in the subject. They are not just our teachers but our friends. The experienced faculty members are very in cooperating in nature and always look to cut marks and decrease the grades of students. The faculty is not good at all leaving a few ones.
