College is good overall with good facilities for stay and classroom teaching and interaction is good. But management at times is inefficient due to too many activities and last minute planning. If they improve on that aspect then overall a good expeernece
Entrance Preview
CAT 2014. I opted because this was the best college available for my score in the entrance exam and it is also one of the reputed b school in the country.
Course Curriculum Overview
Curriculum is good and addresses the overall management skill development with core courses, workshops and electives. Also we are having differnet componenets in each subjects to test overall mettle of the student. Faculty and other facilities are good except very few instances.
Internships Opportunities
More than 100 companies visited the campus with an average stipend of 91000 for 2 months internship. The highest offered was 3 lac for 2 months internship. Top companies across sectors like FMCG, banking, E-Commerce etc visited our campus and made 450+ offers.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities are very good since it is a reputed college with a good alumni base. A total of 557 students, 446 from PGP and 111 from IPM batch, participated in the process where 153 companies visited and offered roles for internships. The companies that visited were from various profiles like, BFSI, Consulting, FMCG, IT/ITeS, Healthcare & Pharma, Infrastructure & Real Estate, E-commerce, Education, Manufacturing and Media amongst others. The students of IPM received internship offers from companies such as ICICI and GE.
College Events
Two of the major college events which were held in our campus were Atharv and Iris. Atharv is the annual management fest of IPM program and it saw a footfall of 1200+ students across the country with various management and cultural events spread across 2 days. Iris is the annual management fest of flagship PGP program which saw participaion from more than 3000 students over 3 days. Apart from this we celebrated various events and had guest talks from industry leaders throughout the year.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is both feasible and expensive. Expensive because it costs 14 lac for 2 year program which many can't afford but it is feasible at the same time because students get loan from major banks at affordable interest rates which can be paid after completion of course.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college offers scholarship to need based students who are meritorious and unable to pay the fees. Many banks have tie ups with the college for loan facility for students as the fees is very high. College as such doesn't offer any loan.
Campus Life
Campus life is buzzing and always filled with some activity throughout the year. But there is no emphasis on sports competitions. Students can participate in various competition inside campus and in other campuses such as case study solving, business challenges etc. We have frequent opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities but the campus life is hectic with too many classes at times which prevents us from participating.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facilities are very good with good rooms and facilities available at the hostel. Internet connectivity is good for most part except at fewodd times when speeds become slow. Mess food is average and good thing is we have variety to choose from but i
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are very helpful and assised us during summer placement as well as normal college activities. We are having a good alumni base in various industries at top positions which help placement activities and reputation of the college.
Exam Structure
Exam days are very hectic as we have 2 exams each day without a break. Exams are of high standard as expected from an IIM. Apart from that usual classes are quite chilled with some hectic days in between with assignments and submissions.
