MMMUT used to conduct its own entrance exam called MET but in the session 2021 admission was done on the basis of JEE. Also now onwards induction of new students will be based on jee rank. One can find the link to the application form at the official site of mmmut i.e. mmmut.ac.in. The application form will be available soon after JEE results are declared. Since it is a government university one can avail benefits of different reservations too. The overall counselling process is conducted very smoothly.

From the session 2021 there is a change in course curriculum due to the implementation of a new education policy(NEP) where subjects like communication skills, technical writing,etc have also been given importance, also students are now getting grades on the basis of their involvement in extra curricular activities and these grades are too important. IT branch has total of 90 students in every batch and we are being taught some subjects by professors and some by guest faculty. Every teacher has a good qualification background but some guest faculty don't take class seriously. Also subjects having lab work are most neglected ones. Honestly speaking students just go to lab, spent thier time sitting in front of systems doing things on their own...atleast what i have experienced uptil now in my first year. Speaking about exams every sem contains 3 exams ,2 minors amd 1 major. Exams occur frequently so you have study on regular basis.

On-campus placement is increasing in MMMUT. Also, students are breaking records with high packages every year both on and off-campus. Talking about eligibility students become eligible to sit for campus placements in mid of 3rd year. The highest package for 2022 is 45 LPA and the average package is 8LPA. MMMUT is moving towards 100% placement.

As it's a government college, the fee is very affordable special when compared to different private engineering colleges. The tuition fee per year is 90,000 and if you take a hostel then you have to pay 20,000 per year as a hostel fee and 15,000 per semester as a mess fee. You can apply for any government scholarship according to your eligibility through college. Although on-campus internship opportunity is not provided to students in this college. But seniors here are very helpful and can guide you about off-campus internships.

MMMUT campus spread over 3.4 acres (app.) is a lush green campus full of nature's beauty but it lacks modern infrastructure as it comprises very old buildings of some departments and hostels in extremely bad condition. Although some new construction work is in process. Abhuday is the annual cultural fest of MMMUT. It is a three-day fest which includes different events like EDM night, musical night, Hermosa etc. Also every year a special performance is organised eg. last to last year bassi filled the fest with exemplary comedy and this year pratyush chaubey joined the fest. Techsrijan is the annual technical fest of MMMUT filled with many interesting events. It is conducted in starting of a new session. Apart from this AAYAS is the sports fest of college. you can join a sports club, cultural club, robotics club etc based on your interest. Here are so many clubs which give you the opportunity to explore and expand your personality, all run by students.
