Naman's Review On Alliance University, Bangalore

Alliance University has been a great contributor towards the development of my personality over the past few years. By participating in the inter-university and intra-university events conducted by the School of Business, I have established my leadership, time management, and team skills and have also been able to advance these skills to whole new augment level. It is very important for business students to understand different cultures and be accommodating of them.

I didn’t take any entrance exam.

The course structure is very Interesting and Chilled out. The candidates are required to attempt the questions correctly because there will be a deduction of 1 mark for each wrong attempt made by them. Admitting eligible candidates in the undergraduate as well as postgraduate engineering courses. The interested, eligible candidates can apply for the course.

Placement of the alliance university is very good. Most of the reputed companies are visited our campus for the placement process. Companies are Microsoft, IBM, HCL, TCS, ITC Infotech, L&T Infotech, NTT DATA FA insurance systems (India) Pvt. Ltd, TATA Teleservices Limited, TATA Docomo, Ocwen Financial Solution, Thomson Reuters, Odessa Technologies, Utthunga Technologies Pvt Ltd, Panasonic India Pvt. Ltd., Wipro CCLG, Philips India, Xchanging Technology Services (India) Pvt. Ltd., Plash Digital Media, XL Dynamics, PlasmaGen Biosciences Pvt Ltd., Yardstick Educational Initiatives, Practo Technologies, Capital First Limited, Preethi Kitchen Appliances Pvt Ltd (subsidiary of Philips India Ltd) etc.

Fee structure of the Alliance University is very good. It is affordable for every student. It lies between 1-2 lakhs per annum.

Alliance provides the students a mix of both academic theory and practical business experience. The Alliance is also one of the best colleges in terms of academics and cross-cultural bonding. Gifted with the best faculty members, each professor's genuine compassion for the student's progression allows one to excel in their career and become a name rather than a number.

Student hostels, at full strength, will be able to accommodate around 6000 students. Hostel rooms being designed will be spacious, air-conditioned, fully furnished and equipped with cable connection, voice and data ports for telephone, campus LAN, and the Internet. The administration of hostel is under a faculty member dual tasked as a Hostel Warden. The overall charge of student’s discipline and hostel administration vests in the Chief Warden. Reading rooms and additional sports facilities like table-tennis rooms, chess, and carom rooms will also be available in each hostel.

The faculty is not so good, an average rating I give for faculty section. The faculty members do not teach beyond the syllabus and are limited only to theoretical concepts. Being a CS student, I was not satisfied with the theoretical knowledge. I expect the technical knowledge for my faculty instead of the theoretical knowledge.
