it's a good college

Admission in NIT RAIPUR is strictly based on your JEE MAIN rank. you must have to secure 75% in your class 12 or to be in top 20% of your respective board. All the information regarding application form, application fees and dates are available in college website after completion of josaa and csab(special round) counselling. 50% seats are for home state students and rest 50% are for other state students. seats are reserved on the basis of castes/community to which a student belongs. After Counselling ends students must have to report to the alloted institute with their seat allotment letter. Their is no issue in admission process here, during your admission you can contact to student section for any kind of help during work time.

I am pursuing my B. Tech at NIT RAIPUR in chemical engineering. I opted this course because from very beggining I wanted to join ISRO/DRDO as an engineer or on the basis of my marks I got this branch simple ????. Faculties are very helping along with your studies they will help in every aspects wheather in sports,music,drama and many more. professors are experienced in their areas and well balanced faculty student ratio in branch their are 71 students. professors are highly qualified but some even don't want to teach (not everyone). we have 2 semesters in a year and in each semester 2 mid-semester and an end-sem at last. exams are not that difficult you can pass even studying in one night before exam (nearly everyone do the same ????? ) just focus on your goal you will surely achieve it.

currently i'm in first year I don't know about the internships but yes our college provides interships to students. I have heard from my seniors that after completion of 2nd year college provides internships to eligible students. many companies provides stipened and it is benefical. many students who do internships have more chanches to get offer from the same company.

campus placements starts after your 3rd year and you have to score a valid cpi(above 8 is considered a good score). many MNC'S visits here every year last year total no. of offers made was around 599. Highest package was 2 Cr. offered by meta (off campus). average pacakge here is 9.7 lpa. in 2021 599 offers were made to 724 elligible candidates.

If your parent income is above 5 lakh per annum it is 65000 rs per semester and if between 1-5 lpa then it is one third of 65000 and if it is less than 1lakh then no fees. scholarship is available if your parent's income is less than 1lakh and you must belong to st/sc/obc . one thing will most satisfy you here is campus placement you can surely grab a good package here if you are good or even average in your academics but try to maintain a good cpi.

Eclectia is the annual fest of NIT RAIPUR and the tech fest is Aavartan these are very good fests and gives many opportunities to students. their is a central library in the main building itself and it is properly maintained you will find books for your topic or for research purpose. NIT RAIPUR lacks in college infrastructure and poor sports ground and maintanence. not even a properly maintained cricket or football ground, volleyball and basketball court are in the same condition. their are many clubs which will boost your skills clubs like RAAGA- THE MUSICAL CLUB, ABHINAY- THE DRAMATICS CLUB, SHOURYA-SPORTS CLUB, I-CELL, E-CELL are some popular clubs and commitees.
