Entrance Preview

All applicants should first pre-qualify through EMPI prescribed tests. As such all applicants taking the CAT / MAT / CMAT / XAT / ATMA examination, achieving high percentile score are considered for selection for the Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programs.

Course Curriculum Overview

The programme is now being re-oriented to address the drastic change in the media sector today with movement away from traditional media of print and broadcast to internet based platforms. It lacks the teachings of Content, Design, Technology and Marketing.

Placement Experience

The college uploads the profiles of the students who are eligible for placements. The companies are invited on campus to give a pre-placement presentation where the students and the company interacts to know each other better.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers many scholarship programs. The college provides Rs. 1,00,000 to the students when they join the PGDM course. Apart from this, there are many scholarship programs which the students can use.

The campus is great with lush green environment, close proximity to the Metro, railway station and airport. The college has an executive dinning hall, library and many other things.

Faculty

The faculty is amazing and they teach really well. They come from different backgrounds and help to understand many things. The real life examples are amazing to listen to.

The Real Unbiased Truth of JIMS Kalkaji

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are average when compared with other B-schools of similar level. The companies which have visited so far for internships are mostly start ups like Wealth Blue and Outlook, but some other companies like ITC, Bajaj Capital and Coca Cola moon beverages have also come on campus. The highest stipend promised so far is 15,000 for 3 months or 10,000 per month for 2 months. A lot of students are yet to be placed, both for final and summer placements. My plan is also to get a job post my PGDM.

Compass provide a place the highest package our were born is 20 lakhs per annum from the Fite department and the average placement gets around 8 to 10 laks and the minimal is7-8 lakhs. The placement is good in sales and finance department. Most of the companies comes for sales and Management. You can also offer for the finance.

Good opportunity in JIMS

Placement Experience:

From 4th trimester onwards that if from August onwards after coming back from 3 months summer internships, companies come for placements and students can apply to the companies. The companies that visited campus are DELOITTE, KPMG, ACCENTURE,TCS, RANDSTAD,ICICI,SBI, MOTILAL OSWAL, BAJAJ, ASIAN PAINTS, ADITYA BIRLA, BLACKROCK, GRIDLINES etc. and many more. The highest package of our batch went for 24 lakhs( Oman based company) , average went around- 7-8 lakhs , lowest - 4.5-5 lakhs. Profiles offered- Sales head, operational manager, Deputy branch manager, Junior Analyst, Analyst, HR - talent acquisition team , underwriting team etc. Right now more than 80% of students have gotten placed and rest are in the placement process which will be till April. I have been placed in ICICI LOMBARD for Underwriting and Claims process and will be joining the company soon.
