Remarks
Eligibility - I got admission through class 12 marks. So, the student must have done class 12. The application form was available online on their website. The fee was Rs 1500. The dates were around May-June and it was late for us due to COVID-19. Cut off for computer science and engineering in 62 campuses was around 97.4%.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am quite interested in coding due to which I opted for Computer Science and Engineering. We have lots of educated faculties. The faculty-student ratio is quite good which would be around 1:12. Most teachers have done PhD and teaching is mostly done on smart boards with the help of their self-made ppts. We have to give 3 exams in one semester which have a moderate difficulty level. Mostly what is taught in class is asked.
Internships Opportunities
Very few companies visit for internships and the opportunity is given to only a few students. So most of us have to rely on off-campus internships which are not easy to grab. The role offered by these few companies is of Software Developer.
Placement Experience
Companies - Google, Deloitte, Amazon, Deshaw, Adobe and many more Students become eligible from the 7th semester to sit for the placements. Highest package - 56 lacs by Google Average package - 7 lacs Percentage of students getting placed - 175% for Computer Science and Engineering. After the degree, I want to be a software developer.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are quite okay which is Rs 125000 per semester. But the hostel fees are very high which is Rs 1 lakh per semester. The college provided scholarships to only 1 person who scores the highest marks in 1st semester.
Campus Life
Impressions are the annual fest(February) and literary fest of Joust(August). There is a huge library which is available for all kinds of books. Classrooms are quite large with a proper air conditioner facility. They can occupy more than 200 students. Sports and extracurricular activities and quite less but still students play many games on the ground. There are many college hubs - IEEE, GDSC,KNUTH PROGRAMMING HUB, GRAFICAS(graphic designing), JHANKAAR(dance), CRESCENDO(singing) ,PAROLA(literary), DEBSOC(debate)
Hostel Facilities
The hostel has occupancy for 2 students. Hence there are 2 almirahs, 2 study tables, 2 single beds, an air conditioner and some additional space. The room is quite small for 2 students. Mess food is of good quality and is provided 3 times a day. We need to fill out a google form initially for a hostel.
