I took Postgraduation entrance exam conducted by IIMT. Prior to that, I have cleared GATE exam which helped in getting Stipend. After getting rank in entrance exam of IIMT I went for counseling. I gave some aptitude test and Personal interview to take admission in this college. I was quite nervous to face the interview because I did not have any experience how to represent myself in the interview, but luckily it was good.

Course structure is like, we have Program cores, then university electives, and program electives we have a credit based system for M.Tech we have to complete 196 credits including Soft Skills 20 credits are for the final year project 2 credits for the extra curricular activities 2 credits for internship they follow the old curriculum and is not much different from other universities. We have to study one foreign language as such.

This is conducted in the first week of February It is known to hold more than 100 events in the fields of dance, music, literary arts, fine arts and debates and this year Riviera celebrated 100 years of cinema in India. The debating competition has students from all over the country participating and Star Night at IIMT is famous and attracts a huge crowd.

I have availed the scholarship which is been awarded to a student who is GATE qualified apart from that IIMT offers various different scholarship withing college and sponsorship to the various student based upon the merit.

IIMT is a good Institute with attractive Infrastructure. The faculty of the Institute is also good. So, if you are thinking to do some course, don't worry just apply for this institute because the placements are good enough and you will get good opportunities in top companies If you are looking for world class facilities you have come to the right place. IIMT has very good lab facilities and students are encouraged to use them as much as they can for projects and other non-curricular activities.It was ranked among India's top engineering colleges and private universities.

The exam is very much flexible in IIMT as you can choose the course according to you, the LAB exam too are good since in college they will make you understand the course well so no issues in the exam. No, I would say that hectic day few very less not regular.

Teachers were very supportive and well qualified.I learned so many things in the college, not just academically but also on a whole how an educational institute works like. At the end, you had no option but to trust students that they would also give their best at studying deeply what has been taught in a rushed manner, and off-course come up with problems and questions later on.Teaching semester wise was different for me, so trying to keep up with time and finishing syllabus keeping in mind the students didn't feel rushed was a huge concern.
