Remarks
The admission process was a bit difficult, as it was online for the first time. But still, it was nice the portal was quite operative. The BIT organization was quite good and cooperative, as many people opted for wrong choices, which was corrected by our college. The counseling was of 2-3 rounds and by luck, I got my choice of branch, and I was very happy with that.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because it has the best research opportunities, and good placement stats and we could explore the best. Faculties are very good and supportive, faculty: Student ratio is about 1:10. All faculties are Ph.D. holders and they carry good knowledge. Exams are quite hard.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, Google has 28 LPA for a student of bit Sindri. The placement statistics of the bit Sindri engineering institute has improved in recent year. The highest ever package of a whooping 28 lakhs per annum has been received by Shailesh Anand, a B Tech student of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch. He has been offered the role of Technical Support Officer in Google on the 29th of January.
Placement Experience
Bit Sindri is in a growing stage and it will definitely do wonders in the future. The placements have been improving each year. The core placements are really improving in this college. All the major core giants like tata steel, Vedanta, and Jindal steel visit the campus. Moreover, it is very cost-friendly too. In around 2.5L all your b.tech degrees will be done. That's the most beneficial point of this college. The noncore placements are not as good as they should be like so for core you can blindly choose this college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is nominal. Like 200000 for the whole bTEch. The cost to study is the least in India. Students get different benefits from scholarships also. Internship opportunities are the best over here. E Kalyan gives us scholarships.
Campus Life
There are approximately 12-13 Fests in BIT Sindri which occur every year between January to July. So you can calculate the time you get between two consecutive fests. Sometimes the situation turns like there are two fests on two consecutive weekends which makes the whole process a bit boring and tiresome. But still, you can't leave a fest after all you are an engineering college student. The guest performance of all the events is exceptionally brilliant and mind-blowing. These events are set to ruin your 2nd-semester results! P.S. - The administration has cut down the number of fest to 2 last year (2016).
