Eligibility of the course: 60% in both 10th and 12th standards, eligible score under required CET cutoff range Firstly, you need to apply for the CET (Common Entrance Test) application form through GGSIPU website portal and pay for the form fee, that was Rs. 1000 in 2019. You have to refer to the GGSIPU website to know the application fees and application dates.
Course Curriculum Overview
I applied for the BBA(Banking and Insurance) course because it was a specialized course being provided by a college, named as Maharaja Surajmal Institute which came under top 5 colleges of GGSIPU offering BBA course. You fill find some great qualified faculty here. However, you will also find a few teachers who will keep a grudge with you throughout your tenure. GGSIPU term exams are usually late than the DU term exams. The level of difficulty to pass them is average to difficult, depending on the syllabus covered by teacher and your retain ability.
Internships Opportunities
The internships being scouted by the placement cell is average, offering a wide variety of domains. You need to apply through the links being provided and the HR team of the company or placement cell members reach out to you for the further process.
Placement Experience
The campus jobs being provided are average and there is not much variety of domains being offered by the companies brought up by the college placement cell. Due to prior reason, students have to opt for off-campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
I joined MSI in 2019 and the college hiked the course fees from that year only, with continuation to its offering of previous facilities only. In COVID period also, unnecessary prices were not cut out.
Campus Life
The annual fest of MSI is Genesis. BBA(B&I) books are generally not available at the library and book bank of college. Infrastructure is poor, washrooms and basic amenities. You will find several active clubs and societies in the college. I even found one in my 2nd year, named as Girl Up Union.
