The Admission is based on the Marks of class 12th and the cutoff marks for B.com (Hons) generally goes up to 90%. The application for admission can be filled online through sajaipuriacollege.in Reservation benefits can be availed for students eligible to avail the reservation benefits such as SC, ST & OBC primarily residing in the state of West Bengal. The admission process is as it is followed since the beginning.

I wanted to pursue Chartered Accountancy course in my career i felt that pursuing B.Com (H) along with it will help me enhance my career prospects obtain a degree side by side. Based on my experience, the student- faculty ratio is 1:20. The teachers are qualified. Most of teachers are holding a Masters Degree and some of them are also having a Doctorate degree in the respective fields. The exams are held in terms of 6 months and are having an average difficulty level. One only needs to be attentive in the lectures and revise once after each lecture.

Students get eligible for campus placements after 5th Semester. Deloitte, TCS, EY, PWC, Infosys etc. Highest average package offered in my batch was CTC of Rs 8 lacs per annum. At least 50% of the students get placed by the end of their graduation. I wanted to pursue further studies in the Chartered Accountancy Course.

Since the college is managed by a trust which is backed by the Govt of West Bengal, the course fee is very nominal and the cost to study is very low (approx. - Rs 9,000-10,000 per year) I am not aware of any scholarships which are available for students. The internship opportunities and campus jobs opportunities are average and students normally get hired for an average CTC of Rs 3,00,000 to 5,00,000.

The annual fest is normally conducted in the month of September and is managed by the college Students Union. The course books are available in the library whenever needed. The library has a average collection of books on topics outside the syllabus. Classroom has projectors which is rarely used by the professors. The college has voluntary sports and extra curriculars. The college has a social club, Students Union and ample opportunities to socialize.
