Course Curriculum Overview

The course is not good as it is not up to the current research advancements and modern technologies. The syllabus is not according to the current syllabus of gate.it contains subjects which are very impractical in nature.overall the course structure is very bad.

The student activities include annual cultural and technical fests, contests, sports meets, excursions and other spontaneous activities that help maintain high levels of enthusiasm and team integration. It also focuses on technical, literary, sports, and cultural scopes through competitive activities, apart from serving as a relief from the intense academic load.

In short, The library is well stocked with relevant and appropriate learning and information resources both in print and electronic, with the latest collection of books, journals, magazines, e-journals, eBooks, and databases from globally known publishers. The major focus of the library is online/digital learning resources, which allows users to access them anytime, anywhere 24x7.

Hostel Facilities

Student hostels, at full strength, will be able to accommodate around 6000 students. Hostel rooms being designed will be spacious, air-conditioned, fully furnished and equipped with cable connection, voice and data ports for telephone, campus LAN, and the Internet. Reading rooms and additional sports facilities like table-tennis rooms, chess, and carom rooms will also be available in each hostel.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Exam Structure

We have semi-star of five months. In which one midterm which occurs mid of session and one end term which occurs end of the session. We have also three internal out of which best two are count. Midterm is 50 marks and end term is 70 marks and internal is 30 marks.

Faculty

We have direct interaction with our faculty. In class, the hour we clearing our study. They also very helpful for project and research work. Guidance of our faculty is very much appreciable. Our faculty mostly high skilled and almost all are alumni of the reputed institute.

My SBS Journey

Placement Experience:

During my time the first company that visited our organization was Naukri.com, and feel proud to say that i got placed in the same organization. I am very happy with my placement. But talking about my peers. Number of companies who visited to our institute was compared to low as per our expectations. Majority of the companies who visited the institute were sales based organizations. Very less companies for finance and HR field. This made a difficult call for students.

Not a dream college but a real one

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio at our caollege can be described as average overall. Most recruiting company belong to the banking and supply chain sectors. Marketing students generally have better placement opportunities, while finance and HR students do get job, though the package are not very high. Buswiness analytics has limited scope as very few companies visit the campus for the roles in that domain.

from 2 sem you get to apply from interships and from 5th sem for placements ,i applied for only company which was tiaa one of the most biggest mnc in india who is direct compitator of jp morgan , i got a package of 6 lacks ctc per anum but the highest package was 12 lacks , the college has a policy that all student gets placed no students are left behind

Promising campus with room for better faculty.

Placement Experience:

After sem 4 we get final placement companies in the campus there are total 200 plus companies come to the campus till september to november almost 35 companies already come to the campus. The companies are ICICI, HDFC, RISHAB WORLD, INSYNC, DENSTU, ITC, BHARAT ELECTRONICS, CORDELIA CRUISE, MORNING STAR, NOMURA, NYKA, NAUKRI.COM. the highest package was given by a company name bharat electronics for HR specialization is 12 lakhs per annum. Almost in my time there 35percent get placed. I plan after degree is first 3-5 yrs in corporate lufe then after own business.

I did choose this course as I am genuinely interested in management and if it is healthcare management that makes me excited. There is a different teaching faculty for each and every subject. The faculties are highly qualified market professionals and experts who teach in an extremely interactive and practical way. They are very supportive. No such bad remarks though. As the college is very superior and one can take admission with complete ease as the college faculty, staff, workers are very helpful and there motive is very clear and remarkable. Best teachers but only to learn academics but no scope and exposure and motivation towards students.The campus is good. Balanced gender ratio if males and females. No much extra activities, no sports, good local competition invitation from local colleges but no scope and worth communication with students. No interesting workshops, procrastinating culture, dirty politics, bad office communication with the students. Every religion is respected here. Economic status is very good. The HOD is very demotivating. There is no coordination and good relation between department teachers and the HOD when it comes to events.
