You need 60% marks in higher secondary examination with science stream. 75% marks on mathematics. The admission is basically on merit list , so in my opinion if you get 80% in overall in 10+2 finalexam u r admission is almost confirmed (based on the seats) U can find application form in online. Spcmc's official website is www.spcmc.ac.in, application date uses to announce after 10+2 result out within 1 week. Students who have reservation get some relaxation in marks. Students from Christan religion also get some extra benefits regarding addmission. No the process is very good and well maintained by college authority
Course Curriculum Overview
Every Faculty of mathematics department have a great qualification.. They also teach well, we have ac lab, students get chance to learn about c,c++,sage math. These teachers also clear every doubts , uses to give extra classes. Overall teaching quality is very high. Exam is conducted by Calcutta University. Annually there are 2 semesters total 6 semesters in 3 years
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees is within maintainable. Only The lab charges are high almost 3000 - 4000 total lab charge in half yearly. Principal also gives some scholarship to some intelligent but poor students. U have to earn the scholarship by your daily performance in classes and marks in semesters and obviously by your behaviour.
Campus Life
Previously our annual fest "Nexus" was conducted in November but in recent year this was happen in April. Nexus is like a festival, 4 days fest and is a great opportunity. Library is very good u can find books of different writer in every corner.. journals can't be found there. Every rooms are big and well maintained.. U won't feel these discomfortable. We have a huge football ground and badminton court. If you are good in sports u can find this college effective they give opportunities to young players. We have Roddur a foundation to help poor slum people .
