Review on VIT vellore

College management is very good and efficient in handling a crowd of 25k students on one campus. Rules are the same for everyone no partiality is allowed. However, the campus is very crowded and sometimes the rules are too strict.

I took the VITEEE entrance examination to get admission to this college, I selected it because it ensures full placement guarantee

The course curriculum is very well structured and organized. The course structure of vit is unique. It uses a Fully flexible credit system in which we have to complete a prespecified no. Of credits by selecting different courses with different credit value, thus flexible class timing according to their slots

Yes my college provides internships in renowned companies like Microsoft and Ford, they are applicable from 3rd year

Placement and job opportunities are the specialty of this University. It is one of the few private universities which guarantees full placement opportunities to everyone studying in the college. Placements are divided into mass, dream, and super dream companies.

Normal events, club membership drives, and cultural fest keep happening in vit every week, hardly one week passes without any event. There are two main fests of VIT riviera and gravitas. Gravitas is a tech-fest and Riviera is a cultural fest, both are pretty awesome and host celebrities from industry and Bollywood

Our college provides scholarship opportunities to intelligent and economically weak students, also fee waiver is given to students on the basis of their rank in VITEEE.

Campus life is pretty awesome. Students from all over India and the world come to VIT for study, such an environment reduces the feeling of homesickness for those who come from far away lands. The sports environment is very enthusiastic. Students take very good care of their studies and fitness here.

Food is not very good but it is hygenic and varied in types according to the region of India you belong to. Hostel facilities are very good from cleanliness to water and electricity supply. Fans have proper fan guards and lifts are 24hrs working.

The Alumni network is very large and we have passports in every big company in good positions. Senior students are very cooperative and helpful.

The schedule is not very hectic, actually, we get to decide the timings of our own classes because of Ffcs. exams are conducted 3 every sem out of which 2 are written and 1 is open book.

I got selected in the merit list after giving VITEEE, then I had to visit the VIT Vellore campus for the counseling process which was very well organized. During the placement process, I was given an opportunity to select between 5 different branches. The counseling process is carried out in both the Chennai and Vellore campus of VIT

VIT holds the largest number Of Ph.D.'s in India after a few leading Universities. Teachers are highly qualified and have very good experience level, they are very well versed in practical and theoretical knowledge, however, most of the faculties are from south India, so their English accent maybe a bit annoying to north Indian students.
