Remarks
The admission process was seamless throughout. I went through the counseling and accordingly next steps were followed. The Eligibility of BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at Amity University is >70% in both the 10th & 12th classes. The application form, fees, and dates can be easily found on the university portal itself. Amity University should introduce more effective and automated methods to improve the overall hiring process.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum was according to the recent requirement of the industry and the faculty member were very intellectual and friendly. I chose BTech CSE as I have a deep passion for computers and technology. Most of the faculty members were Ph.D. holders Terms were happening every other 6 months and the difficulty of passing the exams was moderate.
Internships Opportunities
I was hired as an intern with a pre-sales automation startup called SquadStack and joined the US verticle of the parent company and I was hired as an Operations Analyst, further which I joined the same org as a Business Ops analyst and then Product Analyst
Placement Experience
I did go through the college placement program as I was already hired in the 3rd year of my graduation and since then I was working with the same organization. The % cut-off was >60% and it was compulsory for all courses.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee was 80000 per semester which would increase by 10% every year. There were many scholarships given to the students and also financial assistance was provided. Though I was placed in a startup in the 3rd year of my graduation and job and stipend were given to me off-campus.
Campus Life
The name of the fest is Amity Youth Fest A variety series of books are available in the library. There were multiple amenities were given such as a projector and advanced whiteboards, etc. Swimming and outdoor sport were the part of the course There was an AUIoT group that I was a part of.
Hostel Facilities
I was living in a non-AC hostel that had bunk beds, lockers, a shared washroom, coolers, and other facilities available at the hostel. The quality of the meal was above was average and the food was decent The registration process was seamless and quite affordable
