Entrance Preview
ICFAI own entrance in Hyderabad. I scored 65%. Someone can also get admission on the basis of CAT score. I opted because it is one of the renounced colleges in Delhi NCR and also due to good placement.
Course Curriculum Overview
Complete course books will be provided by the college itself. The curriculum structure is good and there is also internship included in the course for 3 months. You can do an internship at your own while for others, the college also provides options for various companies in NCR.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college provides internship for their students One can also have the option to do an internship at their own while for rest students college provides the option. Stipend ranges from 5k-15k
Placement Experience
The college tries its best to place each and every student of each batch. During my time few companies visited for placement are- ICICI bank, IndusInd bank, Hindustan Times, Kotak Mahindra, Agilent technologies, Earth infrastructure etc. Minimum package is around 2.5lk/pa Maximum package is around 5-6lk/pa
College Events
There are various events organized within the college by committees. Starting from January to December almost all the events are celebrated by different committees. Like Lohri, Holi, Diwali, Christmas, Fresher's party, Farewell party and various FESTs. Musicians are invited in the Fests.
Fee Structure And Facilities
You can say that fee is average. There are total 6 installments which mean you have to pay before the starting of each semester. There are total 6 semesters in MBA. During my time, every installment was of Rs 1,12,000. And if you are late for payment before the due date, then you have to pay a late fee of RS 300.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college supports for the loan facility. If any student is not able to pay fees he may either take a loan on their own behalf else college also provides loan facility with their bank.
Campus Life
The campus consists of both the girls and boys and from every religion may it be Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or Christian. And the ratio is almost 60:40. 60% are boys while 40% are girls. There is a committee named SRC(Social Responsibility Cell) which works for the society. It is connected with various NGOs in Gurgaon. Even I was the member of SRC-IBS-G
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is not available with the college. The students are supposed to arrange for their living by their own. The students can opt for PGs or may take room or flat on rent. There are many PGs available around the college within the range of 3 km.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors were very supportive and guided me every time i needed them. In the starting, they may come to you and ask for your intro. Just brief them easily about yourself.
Exam Structure
Complete MBA course consists of two years. Two years is divided into 4 semesters of six months each. Each semester consists of 3 exams-First Semester Examination, MidTerm Examination, and Semester Examination. In first term and mid term, there may be 2 exams in a single day. There are around 5-6 subjects in each semester.
Admission
After scoring good in entrance examination there will be the process of group discussion and after that also consist of the interview process. You have to good in English. Fluency in English is preferred. I was able to fill ICFAI exam form from Career Launcher branch.
Faculty
The Faculty is really very supportive and well qualified with vast knowledge. Most of the faculty members are holding Ph.D. degree with them. They use to teach with the method of powerpoint slides and includes maximum case studies for many topics to improve practical knowledge of students.
