Remarks
You should have Mathematics in your HS subject choice. The admission process was online when I filled up the form. They make list adding the top four subject marks and the subject which you want for honors. There have reservation benefits also. I am satisfied with their process.
Course Curriculum Overview
I like mathematics. So I choose it. Here the teachers are very good. They taught us very well. Friend, Philosopher & Guide is an appropriate phrase for them. There are 6 teachers for 31 students in our class. If you take all 3 years then the student-teacher ratio is nearly 15:1. All teachers are well educated & teaching method is satisfactory. An internal exam is quite easy. Also, the university exam is easy rather to CU, JU.
Fees and Financial Aid
I spent most of my college life in the Covid-lockdown period. So the figure may have changed. The admission fee was 1250 in 2019. Also, you have to pay 985 - 1495 for each semester. I got Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship every year. But here you only apply for one scholarship. Girls can apply for two, one of them must be Kanyashree. I think the scholarship policy with only one scholarship should be changed. For my part, no campus job is available here.
Campus Life
The last annual fest was organized in December 2019. I forget the name. It was not organized in 2020 & 2021 for lockdown. There are two libraries College & Departmental. You got most of the books there. Also, teachers gave us a pdf of various books in Mathematics. Computer lab and Smartboard are available here. Sports are held every year except 2021 for Covid. Also, various science and cultural activities are held here. AJC Bose Science Forum and Invention are some groups created by us last year.
