Remarks

Firstly I must say Patna women's college is the best college in Bihar for women. In 1940 heaven for girls In Bihar was made. As of 2020, I have completed my inter and in the month of July, I have applied to 2-3 colleges. Since my school days, I have good interest in mathematics. So I have chosen mathematics for my graduation. Eligibility for mathematics honors was that one must have completed her inter with mathematics stream and scored at least 60% then only they can appear for the entrance exam. We can find the application form on the official site of Patna women's college and the fee ranges from 1000 to 1200. Normally form for Ug courses is available on the website in the month of April -May. If you are from a lower caste-like OBC, SC, ST, etc we must get some reservations. college have their entrance exam offline but due to the situation of covid we have appeared In the the online entrance exam. The question paper consists of basic questions that we have studied in our previous classes or from general knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview

As I already said that I was quite good at maths in school days but at this time I am not that happy with my course. At that time no one was there to guide me moving to another point where I want to do an MBA, therefore, Ug vocational course was best for me. Patna women's college has experienced and well-educated faculties. All teacher have completed their PhD in their respective subjects. They all are well-behaved and humble. I think this is the only college in Bihar with takes her exam on time. Like in other colleges, colleges take 4 years to provide a graduate certificate but our college completes it a course on time. We have our semester exams with a gap of 6 months and mid-semester with a gap of 3 months. We have our practicals, assignment, and extracurricular activities. We get our marks for attendance, assignment, practicals, and written exams.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 50000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of our college are not so high. People can afford it for better studies. Every course has different fee structures. It takes its fee semester-wise. College provides several scholarships for the students who are eligible for them. As I am in the 2nd semester I don't know more about placement. But here it provides better placement.

Campus Life

Several fests takes place in my college like annual sports day, college day virasat , Christmas day, workshop, farewell, elections, earth day, yoga day, and many more. Annual sports day takes place in the month of December and college day virasat in the month of October. Each and every student have to participate in the annual sports day and in college virasat we have a dance party and all. we have lots of fun celebrating Christmas day. It takes place in the month of December. Transgender and rickshaw driver are invited to it. They were respected with food and flowers. And all the students of college receive gifts from college. Each department has its departmental libraries and the the college has its central library. We have our poster competition, speech competition, etc.

The reality of A.N college: Academic, Politics, and placement.

Placement Experience:

From the last year students become eligible for the compus placement. Many students get selected in the campus filed like sbi, airtel, Infosys, icici bank etc. The highest package reached around 5 lac and average around 2-3 lac per annum. 80 percent placement rates my plan after getting the honour degree to full the government exam on graduation level.

A Meaningful Academic Journey with Practical Exposure

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall, I would rate the course curriculum as good and fairly comprehensive in terms of both relevance and coverage. It includes most of the important subjects required for building a strong foundation, and it gives a balanced mix of theory and practical learning. One of the main reasons I chose this course was the wide range of core subjects included in the syllabus. The curriculum covers fundamental topics as well as some advanced subjects, which made me feel that it would be useful both for jobs and for higher studies. The inclusion of projects, assignments, and case studies also influenced my decision, as they help in applying concepts in a practical way. In terms of real-world preparation, the curriculum prepares students reasonably well. Many subjects are directly related to industry requirements, and the project work helps in developing problem-solving and analytical skills. However, practical exposure can be improved further by adding more hands-on activities, live projects, and industry-oriented tools. I choose this course because of my interest towards the environment and surroundings. The students and faculty ratio are approx 30:1. Faculty members are much more helpful in nature while teaching. I think the teachers in my department (Geology) are much better than another department

PWC is a powerful college!

Admission are based on 12th scores and let me tell you that they aren't easy at all. Firstly it's a minority college and therefore Christian reservations are 20% and so cut-off for non Christian students hits 90 mark every year. PWC is a marquee institute!!

I applied for DU and LSR or no DU was my plan. I couldn't get LSR and in other colleges I was getting the branches which i didn't wanted and therefore I took admission in PWC. Patna Women's College is best example of Empowerment!!

Admission are granted on 12th cut-offs like for Bihar State Board the cut off was 82 and for CBSE board it was 89 for our course. So this is the process as college forms are out in May after the 12th results. I applied at DU but was only getting admission in Ramanujan College in DU whole I wanted in LSR, Gargi or JMC. However I couldn't get those and my parnets were against me going to a co-ed college.
