Remarks
The admission process is easy if you write an entrance test of this College and You will fee concession for four years according to your +12 percentage. You will find the application form or registration form on the main Vel Tech Website (veltech.edu.in). I did not avail any reservation benefits and there are no reservation benefits available in this college. You have to get the seat according to your intermediate score.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum and faculty members are good. I choose the course CSE with a specialization in Cyber Security as it is my dream. The faculty and student ratio is 1:20. The faculty are highly qualified with masters and Ph.D. and the teaching method is good from the 2nd year, you have an option to choose your own faculty for a specific subject. Term exams are conducted once for 3 weeks and it is not that difficult to pass.
Internships Opportunities
There are many companies offering internships in India and foreign. You get a stipend from the college also if your project is good enough and the faculty assists you with everything that you need to make a good project.
Placement Experience
As of now, my college has a placement of 2041 and counting. There are many companies visited like TCS, Amazon, Wipro, Byjus, Accenture, HP, etc. The highest package as of now is 41LPA and the average package is in the range of 5 to 6 LPA. 90% of the students are placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure will be changing every year for the new students and the cost of the study is less when compared to other colleges in south India. You will get a scholarship under VTUEEE Regulations and They provide you the financial support when you got a seat to do a master's in foreign.
Campus Life
The annual fest celebrated here is called Lavaza and it's a very big event where celebrities come and have fun. There are Clubs that actively involve you in your personal development like Dance, Music, NCC, NSS, etc. There are all the extracurricular activities like badminton, volleyball, cricket and there are participations among other colleges.
