First I gave JEE entrance examination paper, where I scored 83 percentile. But this percentile wasn't good enough for me to take admitted to a good NIT college and in JEE Advance paper I wasn't able to clear its cut-off. Then I applied for REAP(Rajashtan Engineering And Admission Process). Where I cleared its cutt-off and was selected for JECRC college. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY branch (IT). Then after taking admitted to this college I got to know about internal sliding. I applied for it and was then promoted to the CSE branch. I was always very much fascinated with computers, their programs basically literally everything about computers. This interest in computers made me choose for CSE branch, although I first got IT Branch but later by internal sliding I got CSE branch. I am not very much sure about the faculty: the student ratio in college but if I roughly take an idea about it at 1:30. Almost all teachers I came across in my college have done some research in their respective fields. Almost all teachers have 7+ yrs of experience. We have two midterms exams per semester in our college with intervals of around 1.5 months to 2 months. At the end of the semester, there is one RTU exam. Each of these exams is moderate in difficulty level. If one would have attended regular classes one can easily clear exams.

I don't know much about which companies are offering internships in our college. But I know one thing that recently just a week before three of the students from our college got selected for an Internship in Microsoft for stipend 1.25 Lakhs per annum.

From 3rd year students can sit for CRT i.e. campus recruitment training. And normally from third-year students start applying for internships and till 4th year most of the students are got picked by companies. On average students in our college are placed with 4-4.5 lakhs per annum. The highest package of our college is 44 lakhs/annum. If I talk about myself I want to do something of my own like running a startup.

There is no fee hike for police in JECRC college. But we get a 20-25 % scholarship on timely payment of fees. Our per semester fee is 38500RS. with 1600 examination fees. The total cost to study excluding hostel, and bus transport fee is around 4 lakhs.

Our annual fest is Rennaisance which is said to be the second biggest fest in Rajasthan after bits Pilani's fest. In this fest, various colleges participate throughout Rajasthan. Overall it is a very fun experience to be a part of this. We can get books for almost all courses in the library. I personally prefer issuing books from the library only. Our classrooms are spacious enough but they are like heaters in the summer season. This makes it very unpleasant to attain classes in summer. Else everything is good. There are various clubs for social, technical, games almost for everything. You just name it and we have. I can say our college clubs are the best thing about our college. You might not learn that much in the classes as much as you can learn in these clubs and we have the best clubs literally.
