Remarks

To get the you just need to score more than 60+ percentage in higher secondary exam and it will be more beneficial that if you score better marks in accounts, there is no as such entrance exam, and no cut off

I chose this course because I was good in accountancy, I love to do sums and accounts problems and I want to become a CA so I opted for this course, this is a very scoring and good course you can go

Class Size: 150Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are very nominal as you can complete the whole course including exam and lab fees within 20k it was too nominal, no campusing was offered no placement Done from it, so no job get by any of the students

Campus Life

Fest was very good and excited, every Puja there is one fest held and it was too entertaining, books are all available in Libra and journal too, classrooms are very big, no sports activities I have seen

St Joseph's college a Decent one

Placement Experience:

Placements were not there earlier. But our batch was the first one to get placement at St Joseph's College Darjeeling. To be honest It is not a college you should target if you are looking for placement. The companies were too small . The roles are way to entry level . Highest placement was around 40000 per month but it was an inside sales role so many opt out. There is not official data about placement . My plan was to look for off campus jobs.

Placement Experience:

from 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Various Jewelleries company has visited, and even companies like Google, Tata and many has visited. As per i know the highest package were in lacs per month. The college provides 100% placement. After getting the degree, I'll do masters in business administration.

I did chose this course to learn more about accounting and finance and the cirriculum prepares you perfectly for the real world. The exams were conducted very soon in few semester only giving 3 months for the students to prepare . the professors were good at teaching and somehow used to complete the syllabus

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

A college with all the facilities.

I applied in 5 colleges;Seth Anandram Jaipuriya, Goenka, Surendranath, Lalbaba and City college in which I am currently studying. I got confirmation from lalbaba and City college. Those nice college days

I had applied in many colleges and also got selected there but I chose city college for it's friendly atmosphere and supportive seniors. In order to eligible for pass course you need minimum 60percent for not put yourself in waiting list. If you score below this then there are chances that your name will be not in the first list. There are 2 or sometimes 3 lists are out for admission list. If you want to go with honours then you need 85 to 90 percent because seats are very limited...Read More
