Placements are good for cs/is/ece hostel mess is not good

Admission to the college can be taken by writing the KCET exam which is conducted every year. Cutt-off rank to get into the college is 5000 for the obc category. Admission order has to be collected after getting the seat and can get the admission on paying the college fee.

Some courses are outdated. Some are very useful. It's an autonomous college under vtu so the syllabus is updated every year. Faculty average. Fewer assignments are given for the cs branch. Some lectures are very good at teaching and some are pathetic. Most of the lecturers are PhD holders. Internals are moderate, one can score good marks by reading the day before the exam.

Nestle, Jp Morgan, hallodoc, fidelity and many companies provide internships with stipends that vary from 10000 per month to 60000 /month. They also give pre-placement offers after the internship. You should be good at data structures and if you get time learn some extra skills like web development, and Android development which can be helpful to make mini-projects.

The college has good placement records for CS/IS/ ECE average package for the IT branch is 7-8 LPA. Placement starts in the 6th semester. Companies like fidelity, JP morgan, Mcangee, HP, cisco and many product based company come to our college. The highest package was 43 LPA. JP Morgan gives 16lpa, fidelity 12 LPA, and cisco 13.5 LPA. For IT branch placement is more than 90 %. Last year around 150 offers were made for the cs branch.

Yearly for computer science, the branch tuition fee is 59000 for the OBC category and the college fee is 25000. And it varies on category. Scholarships are provided by the state government for Karnataka students. There are also some other scholarships for girls. One can get the scholarship names by visiting the college website and downloading brochures in the announcement section.

Every year techNIE is conducted which is a college fest in May or April. The college has a library which is very useful. Books can be borrowed for 15 days if you have a college id card. Classrooms are provided with Samsung smartboards, projectors and comfortable benches but some classes have old benches Talking about the infrastructure, there are two blocks GJB and ADMIN. Infrastructure is well provided with a lift. The campus is small. There are many clubs like onyx, IEEE, ROBOTICS and many more.

I am hostile. Hostel rooms are good, 3 beds per room in the boy's hostel and there is an option for girls. The hostel fee is 85000 / yr. The hostel provides hot drinking water, a gym, garden, Hostel food is average someday it is pathetic. There is a special dinner per month. Only vegetarian foods are provided in the hostel. The registration process is simple you just have to meet the hostel manager and get the fee payment details and register. There are also PGs nearby which costs less. But the food provided is not good in PGs.
