Remarks
I completed my intermediate and secured 912 marks i.e., 9.69 CGPA points. I applied for counselling to get admission in BSc statistics at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College for degree and pg courses. I applied for Lankapalli Bulaya college and Gayatri vidya Parishad .Hence I got admission to Gayatri Vidya Parishad.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course so I can gain some knowledge in the department of statistics which might be useful for my further job purposes. The student-teacher ratio is 1:10 Few of our faculty have completed their PhD and the others have completed their pg course. The semester exams are being conducted according to the rules passed by the government. i.e., for every 90 days. It is a little difficult for us to learn and present the entire syllabus in our examination within 3months which is supposed to be learnt in 6 months.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus selections from the 5th semester. I'm actually yet to participate in the campus drives. The percentage of the students getting offers is about 70%. My plan is to secure a decently paid job in the campus drive.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure for us is 25000 per anum. There is no scholarship or any financial assistance. Only the government provides JVD as a kind of fee reimbursement. I'm still in my 2nd year and need to participate in campus interviews to secure a job.
Campus Life
The annual fest is conducted in the month of March every year. There is a library on our campus which is very pleasant and very comfortable to study and learn new things. The classrooms are fine but I suggest providing more fans. Our college also conducts sports and other extracurricular activities. They conduct competitions and encourage each and every student to participate. There are different clubs like NSS and NCC.
