Remarks

First, you have to give Jee Main exam after the 12th. Then you have to register for JAC CHANDIGARH And follow all counselling process The admission is taken on all India rank. There is no State reserved. Though you get reversed seats on others like SC ST OBC EWS

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is nice and well managed There are a total of 77 students in my class There are three exams in one semester Two are minors with 30 marks And one major happens at end of the semester and each paper has 50 marks

Class Size: 77Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement is good enough. The non-core branches like CSE IT ECE get nice packages and the core branches get the average packages because many of the students from core branches opt for higher studies rather than going for placement The average package is approximately 7 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

There are so many scholarships provided on the basis of poverty caste Kashmiri migrates The total fee is approximately 8 lakhs For one year you have to pay approx 1 lakh Some of the stiped are given to students on the basis of their reservation

Campus Life

The college has so many clubs The fest of the college happens in March or April It is celebrated and the name of it if GOONJ THE COLLEGE HAVE A GROUND BASKETBALL COURT A LIBRARY where students can read There are enough books related to the curriculum

Placements of this college is better than many tier 2 NITs . Students are eligible for placement in 8th semester. If we talk about the top companies visiting PEC, these are Apple, Google, Microsoft, American Express, McKinsey, JP Morgan etc.

Placement Experience:

from 5 semester you become eligible for internship and pre placements i think 56 percent of the students get placed i haven't thought much about what i need to do after the degree but definitely i would be considering gaining some experience in this degree to enhance my skills

PEC is great choice

Placement Experience:

placements from rti report placement percentage is over 75 + and in ee its 74 percent cse 93 and ece 84 percent avg for cse is 18 lakhs and ece is 16 lakhs ee its 14 lakh and other branches have 8 10 lakh avg but the placemnt percentage in mechncial is 70 percent other branches like civil production have a little less percentage of placements but they have opportunities in college

Placement Experience:

For placement students can apply in their last year respectively Top recruiters at UICTE include Reliance, GAIL, Honeywell, ExxonMobil, and Technip, offering many roles, but exact offer numbers aren't publicly available. Highest package for chemical engineering this year is 12 LPA and average is around 5 to 7LPA I want to do something of my own after this degree

There are on compus placement and few companies visit. But very few students are only selected and offered a package of around 5-6 lpa. Oracle, fy, hdfc etc In percentage placement is around 10%. I plan to apply for off campus placements and don't have any plans for mtech or any other cource.

I want to go abroad for higher studies and after that work for a multinational company. I will be able to learn so much about what has been taught to us, the highest package that was given was 42 lakh per annum and the minimum is 10 lakh per annum and CSE gets the highest number of the package.

my college: pros and cons

i had applied in jossa and received conformation for central university of rajasthan and iiit dharwad. i had to reject them because they were out of my budget and were also quite far from my house. i also applied for thapar(patiala) which i felt to be much more expensive. so i chose this college due to its affordabilty and easiness in travelling to home. also because it is a government college which has a high demand over private colleges. the admission process is purely online through jac chandigarh. it is based on your rank in jee mains exam...Read More

BEST you can get in low JEE ranks. GREAT ROI.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location. It is situated in main Chandigarh and very near to my home. Moreover, it's placements are better than both of them....Read More
