Took no exam. Scored 952 and choose this college since, it was one of best in the city. Also comes under the top 10 colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took CSE, so it had electives like C#, Multimedia Systems, Mobile Computing. C# was helpful for my coding skills. The other two we just theory and weren't useful in any way. However, gave a slight understanding about the mobile network and the media systems.
Internships Opportunities
No, they do not provide any internship. But they will give permission to join any internship on our own. They will give on-duty for all the internship days.
Placement Experience
The placement in this college is great. A large number of companies came to campus, like Amazon,ZOHO,CTS, Accenture,Wipro,etc... Both product and service based companies came. The companies like Amazon and ZOHO offered like 10LPA and the service based companies like CTS,Accenture,Wipro offered 3LPA-3.5LPA.
College Events
We had Kensho, which is a huge symposium conducted by our college. Each department conducts many events and there was huge crowd from other colleges. CSE department conducts Mr. and Mrs. Smrithi, which is a event for School Kids. Many events like treasure hunt are held that day.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is feasible, each year you have to pay around 1 lakh for the college fees. If you're a hosteler, extra Rs.75,000. is added to the fees. If you want bus facility, that is Rs.25,000. When compared to other colleges, it is on the normal level.
Fees and Financial Aid
They provide government scholarship, they just asks us to provide the necessary xerox and details. And the amount is credited after sometime.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing, the college campus is huge and have lots of places like Food Court, ground where we can spend our free time. And in the gender ratio, the number girls is slightly higher than the boys. The college do provide extracurricular activities, the student just have to go the respective personnel. There are sports,Tamil club, etc... And there are no diversity in regards to gender, race,etc.. They treat everyone the same.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are quite small, each room is shared by 4 people. They provide a small wardrobe to keep the clothing. The fees is around Rs.75,000. This covers the staying and also the food in the hostel. The food is unlimited and the students must come eat at the specified time.
Alumni/Alumna
The college has a Alumni network, in which we have all registered. This helps us stay in connection. Also it enables us to clear doubts from the older Alumni.
Exam Structure
Each week, we had like two to three labs. And it was quite hectic sometimes if we didn't complete and get signed. But the teachers were forgiving mostly, so a huge scene were not created. The exams came with long intervals, so it wasn't any problem. The exam paper difficulty is average, in which all can pass if studied properly.
Admission
I got admission through the Anna University Counselling. I just went to Anna University and when my turn came, I chose this college. Luckily there was still seats left. So I got it. And went to college to pay the fees. The management was helpful and we completed everything that same day.
Faculty
All the faculty are well educated and are helpful in clearing doubts. Most of the staff have a clear understanding and are easy to communicate with. We also have google classroom which helps us up to date with our assignments and homework. Therefore, we were able to clear doubts using it.
