Remarks

You should have completed 12th from any board to apply to this college. As Patna is my hometown I knew that Patna women's college is the best college for women in Patna. There is an entrance exam for taking admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

This was the best college in Patna. Discipline was maintained in the college. I did my 12th with a commerce background so I decided to opt for BCOM. The teaching and the faculty were excellent. The teachers were very cooperative.

Class Size: 325Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

According to the facilities provided in the college, I believe the fees are pretty decent and also there are various scholarships provided in the college and my friends got scholarships in the college. I exactly don't know the name of the scholarships but you can get this information in the general office.

Campus Life

Various activities are organized in the college at every interval like Shravan Mahotsav, cultural fest, independence day celebration, holiday celebration, and many more. Also, different competitions are organized and one can get a lot of opportunities to participate in the extra circular activities in the college.

PWC is a powerful college!

Placement Experience:

Currently not many as Bihar hardly have industries but our college has made some connections and therefore those industries come for placements. However only 30-35% students are placed and not many as of now.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn’t eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational, and educated conclusions. We are still giving timed tests in math facts! I know that’s traditional, but it just isn’t as important. My era had no calculators and we needed to be proficient at paper and pencil solutions, but now, perfect calculations are available to everyone. We should focus on what kinds of problems can be solved with mathematics. Spelling is equally less important. Vocabulary should be stressed. My sister years ago was taking a test for a personal assistant position where she was asked to type a large number of words per minute error free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nothing influenced me yet i just have to go for it because of my graduation . Yes they prepare you good enogh for the rat race you are gonna do in coming future . The curriculam is a joke they will put information today and you have to get today only . I would suggest some of the rules and regulations should be maintained by the staffs and students even with teachers. Exams should in such manner no student can atleast face problems regarding admit cards and can cheat . there is no difficulty in in mid one but final one .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I Wanted to Clear Few Professional Exam's and and few of them graduation was mandatory so on that note I've chosen this Course. See, I've done my B.com(Hons.) in Accounting and finance and my professional course is completed related to that so it helped me quite sort of like that. There must should be some accountability too for one who clearrs the paper and needs improvement while checking each student's paper No there's isn't any kind of improvement it needs that's good enough till yet !

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the B.Com curriculum at LNMU around 7.5/10 for relevance and coverage. I chose this course because it included all the important commerce subjects needed for government exams, higher studies like MBA, and basic professional courses. The syllabus builds a good theoretical foundation, but it lacks practical exposure like Tally, GST or real industry projects. Teaching methods are simple and could be improved with more modern, interactive approaches. Exams are held twice a year and follow predictable patterns, so the difficulty level is moderate. With notes and regular study, most students clear them easily.

As of now it's the industries and small business owners who have been taking studnets of our college. SMSE are less in Bihar and once they start coming out placements rate will skyrocket which currently stands at 50%.

Placement Experience:

Big 4 and some manufacturing companies who have large scale accounting are the ones who have partnered with college to get them the real workforce for their organisation. A lot of girls from our college who secured jobs from campus have helped the college build network and make sure every year maximum girls are placed from campus.

Firstly the college doesn't prepare students for the real world. Teaching methods of the teachers are okay but it doesn't help in the real world competition. No extra curricular activities are held for students. College gives enough time for preparation for the examination. Anyone can pass easily in this college.

PWC is a powerful college!

Admission are based on 12th scores and let me tell you that they aren't easy at all. Firstly it's a minority college and therefore Christian reservations are 20% and so cut-off for non Christian students hits 90 mark every year. PWC is a marquee institute!!

I applied for DU and LSR or no DU was my plan. I couldn't get LSR and in other colleges I was getting the branches which i didn't wanted and therefore I took admission in PWC. It's a great college and cut-offs are hoght. No entrance through like DU and therefore for students who have done their HSC sincerely can get admission here easily....Read More

Patna Women's College is best example of Empowerment!!

Admission are granted on 12th cut-offs like for Bihar State Board the cut off was 82 and for CBSE board it was 89 for our course. So this is the process as college forms are out in May after the 12th results. I applied at DU but was only getting admission in Ramanujan College in DU whole I wanted in LSR, Gargi or JMC. However I couldn't get those and my parnets were against me going to a co-ed college.
