My college experience

SRMCEM is a good and well-established college and its on our personal prospective that how one has to study and work and excel in lyf. The college provides a good platform and a sticked rules following which one can be a good professional for future. I am happy to be here and have to achieve a lot in lyf from here only now.

IIT JEE : 98 BITSAT: 195 UPSEE: 8000 RANK Choose it because didn't had better options outside my living place that would give anything extra. It was in my own city and a good option.

A good place to get with the ongoing course you pursue. There is the perfect processing of conduction of tests and sessionals that help to get in regular involvement in studies. There is regular check over the ongoing course and the chapters to cover up. Regular check on the syllabus. And in check to the material required to excel in other competitive exams.

Yes, our college provides internship programs. Don't know much about where they do so but they have tie ups with most of the companies here in Lucknow. They also have a tie-up with the Railways where students are provided to go and do there internship.,

There is an average placement opportunity on campus but most of the students excel in various fields. The companies too come here for placement and take the good ones from here too at nice packages. There are huge job opportunities from here for the students who have studied well.

There are Technical Events like Gantavya which has lots of events in it related to subjects of various branches to Robotics and everything else. There is a huge cultural fest named Abhivyakti that is at grander level in which plays dance and all are done. At last day there is Star Night too.

The annual fees for B Tech program are ₹120000 which I think is an average cost for Graduate Program. This expense is affordable by most of the people. It is a feasible amount to be paid to a college. This amount includes ₹20000 as a caution money too.

Yes there is a petition to be signed if there is financial problem and college would look over it. The Dean and Director to have concern over good students. And AKTU to have a facility to provide a government scholarship to financially weak students.

Campus life is great here as there is an open environment. Students are free to do the things of there interest. The Gender Ratio is almost perfect here. There are a good number of females too. The Ratio differs from branch of Engineering too as Mechanical have lesser number of female students but cs, it has greater female students.

The hostel facility is good as the infrastructure is okay with good regular checks over problems in needs. There is good hygiene at hostel. Cleanliness is preferred to be done. The mess is also okay. Food doesn't have variety in it but the quality and taste are okay for students.

There is good alumni meets conducted from time to time by college. There are good number of well established alumni from our college who look over there college in a very good way. Seniors are also very good who provides us with all required information when needed and here there is a good conversation between seniors and juniors.

There are regular ongoing 4 Surprise Quizzes of 5 marks each that faculty can take anytime. There are three Quizzes (Sessionals) Of 30 Marks each that is conducted at scheduled regular interval. And at last there is mid sem by college conducted of 100 marks for each subject. Lastly, there is AKTU External End Sem Exam of 100 marks for each subject.

UPSEE 2016 Counselling Process Gave UPSEE 2016 Scored 8000 Rank Filled for counselling and choose SRMCEM (122) Mechanical Engineering as an option. Locked it in first step. Went to institute and got my admission. Gave all the documents. Submitted the fees.

The faculty is good and are friendly to the students. There is a regular faculty seminar too to make faculty aware of the required things they need to apply to students. They are good in dealing with different type of students. Most of the faculty are well educated and well qualified. Our dean and director are from IIT Kanpur.
