Remarks
Institute of engineering and rural technology, Allahabad takes admission on the basis of JEE mains percentiles. Every year counseling was conducted by Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University. Cut off was very high for the computer science and electronics branch. For lateral entry, there was an exam UPCET that was conducted by AKTU.
Course Curriculum Overview
Courses were designed by AKTU so it was normal, neither hard nor easy. Faculty members are helpful, supportive, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is also good. Teachers are cooprative, and they are always ready to solve students' doubts and other academic help.
Placement Experience
After the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. There are about 20 to 30 companies visited in college just like IBM, amazon, goldman sachs, TCS, infosys, darwinbox, L&T, wipro, byju's, HCL, infochips, gainsight, etc. The hightest package is about 24LPA, and average package is about 5LPA. This year students will get 250+ job offers.
Fees and Financial Aid
Academic fees were 63,000 and exam fees were 8,000. The hostel was also available on campus and hostel fees were 25,000 mess is managed by the students themselves and mess fees is 4,000. per month. Scholarship facility was also available in this institute.
Campus Life
As this college was established in 1955 so infrastructure is a little bit old, but some of the buildings are newly built because of engineering degree division was established in 2001. There are two libraries and canteen was present. Many sports, cultural and technical fests were organized in this college.
