Remarks
The admission process was very smooth. I was eligible for admission based on my JEE scoring and 12th result. The application form for the admission process can be found on the gndec.com website. At my time, the application fee was 200 rupees. Applications will be available from July end. Some students with PWD quota or academic scholars can reserve their seats.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Computer science and engineering as my courses as they will help me find jobs in IT. Also as the Internet is changing the employment game, I thought it's best to choose CSE. The faculty-student ratio is good. There are enough teachers for teaching. The quality of education isn't that good, there aren't enough opportunities for us to grow. Exams are very timely taken and the level of examination is pretty good.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure is smester-wise. One semester fees are about 46000 to 52000 without hostel and mess. On campus, there are no good offers to provide scholarships that will give stipends. You can opt for some off-campus ambassador opportunities for this purpose. There is a scholarship for academically sound students. They must maintain an average CGPA of 9.0 and above to avail of this.
Campus Life
There are not any good fests in this college. They bring old Punjabi singers. The library has many books, you can issue books any time. There are many journals available there too. Sports and extracurricular activities are good. There is badminton, lawn tennis, cricket, football etc. In indoor games, there is chess, table tennis etc.
