Course Curriculum Overview

I've studied B.com (Retail Marketing) at PSG College of Arts and Science. This course is about retail marketing only. It would have been better if they had added practical classes in digital marketing. Although placements are good, you can't gain any useful skills.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 58000 per year

Internships Opportunities

As I studied retail marketing, I went for a marketing internship. The viva will be conducted next and the marks will be added to the last semester marksheet. We must spend 30 days working as marketing interns in an organization.

Placement Experience

Various companies like TCS, HCL, and Wipro will be visiting every year to hire students from various departments through tests, group discussions, and personal interviews. 60% is the eligibility for entry into the placement process.

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid Rs. 58,000 approximately as annual fees. This is a self-financed program, and we have to pay the fee annually. Apart from this semester, exam fees have to be paid in full every semester before the exam. Exam fees may differ in every semester exam.

Campus Life

PSG's campus life is always memorable. There are many social clubs like NCC, NSS, Rotaract Club, etc. The Rotaract club is fun and fantastic. An election for the student chairman will be held every year.

Best friendly college with quality education

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect will be accounting that made me choose this couse. The curriculum made me to prepare for future accounting field works and knowledge around the field. The improvements that I suggest may is to add more relevent real life job experience in subject books itself. As per me who is one of a topper student in my college, The difficulty is moderate to me and timing of exams are more enough to fill all the questions.

From 5th semester students get campus placements. Highest ever is 80LPA i think from deloit or KMG. Mostly students get placements about 75% get placements. My plan after getting degree is clear CA inter and finals.

A view on recent days MCC

Placement Experience:

In MCC there is placement but it's not 100% placement, only 10 to 20 from a class of 60 gets placed, so when it comes to placement it's upto to you and your skills. Normaly the placement enrollment starts at beginning of your 5th semester or end of your fourth semester, you can opt for placement or higher study. The highest package was from Standard Chartered & Deloitte it was 6 Lakhs CTC. Accenture, TCS and some well known companies will participate in placement drive. The average package will be Rs.3.5 Lakhs CTS. I'm planning to go for higher studies while doing a part time job after getting degree.

An personal view of myself of my college

The psg college of arts and science is a prestigious college in tamilnadu and every student has a dream of studying in our college because the merit system makes it more likable for students as there are two types of applications one is aided and another one is self finance the aided structure made me to chose this college over other colleges . The application has to be applied on the psg college website and once you are eligible for counseling the will ask you to attend it and if you are eligible for the seat you will get seat . I applied in Sri Krishna College of arts and science for BBA logistics and after hearing the fee structure i chose my mind only to join in psg college.
